I did the AC install for the spa on this place and also serviced the rest of the property. This place is LEGIT. For a while I couldn’t find where one of the units went to…. And sure enough, groundskeeper slides that picture up and there’s the eye scanner to go down to the gun range to service said unit. One of the few places where I’d worked and been like, “yep this is what I’d do with money.” To add, I still had never seen the owner in the 2-3years of going there. Wild

But no one is stopping you from doing what it takes to close it for yourself. I was born into poverty so bad that we had malnutrition that left permanent damage. Now I'm well into seven digit net worth. It took insane work and persistence over more than 40 years now, but I now live a great life, not like the guy who made this property, but definitely well off. The gap between 99% of people involved in the NBA and the 1% of the wealthy in the NBA is even worse. The gap between the 99% of people involved in film and TV and the 1% of the wealthy in film in TV is even worse. The gap between the 99% of people involved in music and the 1% of the wealthy in music is even worse. Do you hold those industries to this same standard? Or is it okay that Beyonce is a millionaire because "omg i likez her songz". But if you like a product you buy often, you have a problem with the creater/owner of it for being rich? The fact of the matter is less sexy industries that people HATE the rich in, have less income disparity and more opportunity per capita, than entertainment, music and sports fields do, where the same people WORSHIP the wealthiest in them.

I'd guess over 40k, though, between cleaning interior, maintaining grounds, replenishing usables, maintaining entertainment equipment, maintaining mechanical equipment, feeding animals, etc you'd have to have someone just to manage maintenance at least part time (contracts, scheduling, access, records keeping). 40% on top of an already expensive mortgage is enough even for the rich to stay away, especially considering they would certainly not live there full time and maintenance still has to keep going.

Billionaires don't care. They have tons of personal staff. My brother in law worked for one (Middle Eastern family), he was in charge of vetting staff/vendor personnnel and security, said this family had effectively about 200 staff who worked full time just to ensure their every need/desires were attended to immediately, no matter where they were in the world. Many ended up not being paid, they would quit, when they demand their money the family would say "meh, see you in court" and they would just hire new ones. My brother in law finally quit because of how vile they were, they felt employees were animals to be mistreated until they run away. He ended up working for a new family nearly as rich, but they were nice to their employees and had high retention (fifteen years later, he still works for this family as their head of security).

I live in Gilbert and the amount of weed killer they must use on this property must be ridiculous. Definitely soaking into the groundwater. Weeds grow rampant here because everything is dirt. There’s also no solar. Their AC bill is probably 10,000 a month easily. Probably more. Mine is $500 a month and we keep it on 80 degrees lol. We are also supposed to go thru a massive water crisis in the next 5 years. Meaning our water canals will dry up.. so idk why anyone would build a compound here when it will maybe be unusable in a few years
