Congratulations 🎉... excellent reporting!🎉
It seems like the Isleworth Mona Lisa 'aged' better, with more of the pinks surviving in both the background and the skin/lips. Why would da Vinci's two paintings age so differently? Also, why don't they do the multi-spectrum photos of this version like they did with the one in the Louvre?
Impressionnant!
fascinating
Grandioso!
This portrait is not that of Lisa Gherardini, the wife of Francesco del Giocondo, but that of Isabella of Aragon and Sforza Duchess consort of the Duchy of Milan, as the historian Maike Votg-Lüerssen demonstrates through her studies. It is also enough to compare the portrait of the Louvre with those of Isabelle to be convinced. The time has come to set the record straight...
Hmmm, but in Raphael's sketch there's a city in the background , and the dress seems different.
almost as though he painted her again when she was older

Painted her again when she was older to update it for her and her family? Then, she didn't like it because it made her look "old and fat", and so it was returned it to Da Vinci who kept it till his death.

My grandmother gave me a photo of a girl seated on the ground before a school that looked like her. I don't know what happened to that photo. She told me, "This is your mother." This was in the early 70's.
