I don’t think Leonardo gave the Mona Lisa to the French King, it was with him when he died. This is not investigate properly because it was Leonardo assistant who inherited the painting. We don’t know if the assistant gave the original to the King , he moved to Milan. It’s in this point on history when two Mona Lisa’s appear.

Unfortunately, art theft ......at least for major works, tends for it to be used as a "bargaining chip". Most of these bastards don't steal it for the love of the piece....just for "blackmail" reasons.. In the old days, it was often due to a passionate love of the art..... Now, the pieces are used as a "get out of jail for free" card....... Sad.....very sad. Still waiting to see IF anything ever shows up from the Boston heist years ago.....hopefully the art is being stored properly and will eventually surface....

People say Leonardo kept Mona Lisa until his Death because he didn't finish it. I don't think so. Artists need to keep some of their Paintings to show their Work, Skill, etc., to visiting friends, clients or in case of Leonardo to visiting dignitaries. It is said that Jan Vermeer was once visited by a wealthy potential Buyer and he didn't have anything to show him, so he had to go and borrow one of his Paintings that he had already sold to the neighbourhood Baker.

Indeed, very interesting. But do we really every sentence repeated 5 times in a row by "experts" with different accents? Calandra's narration is sufficient.

The character seen in the famous portrait at the Louvre is not that of Lisa Guerardini, but that of Isabella of Aragon and Sforza, the daughter of the King of Naples Alfonso II of Aragon. Isabella married her cousin Gian Galeazzo Sforza, the heir to the Duchy of Milan, to strengthen ties between the Kingdom of Naples and the Duchy of Milan. Leonardo da Vinci was at that time in the service of Ludovico Sforza, Gian Galeazzo’s uncle who was regent. Isabella’s young husband disappeared at the age of 25 without having been able to exercise power, said to have been assassinated by his uncle. The German historian Maike Vogt Luerssen tells us that after her widowhood, Isabella and Leonardo formed a secret couple and had 5 children. It is therefore the portrait of his beloved that Leonardo da Vinci made, which explains why he took it to Amboise in France and kept it until the end of his life, there was therefore an emotional link which would not have been the case if it had been a commission. The landscape that I have precisely located and which is not Italian, confirms the theory of Maike Vogt Luerssen, since it pays tribute in a way to the origins of his paternal family. It seems obvious to me that the identity of the character in this portrait has been confused between an order actually received, that of the wife of Mr. del Giocondo, and the portrait of Leonardo’s companion which is the one we see today at the Louvre. All this is well known by the so-called connoisseurs of Leonardo da Vinci who do not want to recognize it because they have spent their whole life defending a version that they know today is outdated.

i think passion for paintings are of for them who have money but cant do anything for themselves.just refuting who got the most money theyve got.cant see anything special on the mona lisa.strokes maybe made by a genius?hows the painting going to change the world?youll secure that painting more than youll do for children deprived of how beautiful the world is more than a sick painting of a woman.

Truth in plain sight! 🦁If you calculate this year 2022 minus the year the 1st Mona Lisa died 1542=480 years, the same amount of time from Exodus to the rebuild of the new temple in the bible. She has started the rebuild. The 2nd Mona Lisa is the Bride of Christ the root of David, Queen of Heaven and Earth. 🦁the initials in her eye is her name initials 🦁the V & 5 sceneries are the 5 places the 2nd Lisa has lived in after marriage. 🦁The 12 pins firstly in a shape of a cup represents her surname 🦁secondly around her head in X-ray represents 12 stars just like in Revelation signifying her holiness. She was the 1st human female 🦁Triangle =The trinity is Mother/Father God, Son Jesus & Daughter Lisa. Lisa meaning is God’s Promise. 🦁The right hand over the left signifies she is the right hand of God. 🦁The number under the bridge 75 is the year son of God was born in human form. 🦁His other paintings link the Mona Lisa to them as well, the crab sketch represents her star sign Cancer. 🦁The ferret and lady represents what the 2nd Mona Lisa was called as a child. 🦁Portrait of a woman represents her eldest daughter. Her youngest daughter is painted as saint Anne 🦁The last supper shows the Mona Lisa incarnation of Mary and the cup as her to be surname. 🦁The twist in her fabric on her shoulder represents Gods humour & twist to the biblical story, savior is female this time. The Bride and Christ walk the spiritual path and dislike religion coz that causes separation. They are going to unite everyone in peace and love
