thanks for awesome review, which one has better (and/or stronger) neck/shoulder massage and body stretching? this or Inada Dreamwave?

The Super Novo has the stronger neck massage, in my opinion. The Dreamwave is a great chair, but has a more subtle, gentle massage. The Super Novo can really dig in. dr. w.

What chairs occasionally miss scan your back? As you mentioned in the video. Be good to know. What Chairs tend to never miss scan also?

Scans can be erroenous usually because the user doesn't have his or her head back against the chairback during the scan. Make sure you are leaned back during the entire scan. If you do that and the scan is still missing the mark, contact the massage chair company to make sure that the sensors are working correctly. Sometimes there is a parts problem. dr. w.

What's your thoughts on the TruMedic Brand of chairs? Specifically the MC-2000?

Thanks for reaching out. I am not familiar with that brand, other than it is most commonly sold on Costco.com. They are lower priced Chinese-made chairs. Make sure you are aware of the details of their warranty, i.e. what they will cover, for how long, and if it is an in-home warranty. dr. w.

How does this chair compare to the Osaki os-4d pro maestro? Which one would your recommend? Super novo or os-4d maestro?

The Maestro LE has a stronger neck massage but does not fit a wider, taller body as well as the Super Novo. The Super Novo has more versatility than the Maestro LE. Customer support is better with Human Touch products. Both chairs would be great options. Make sure you get the Maestro LE and not the regular Maestro. We have so many problems with the original Maestro, which have been corrected in the LE. FYI. dr. w.

Would you recommend this chair for my body measurements? ( 6' - 310 lbs- Very broad shoulders )

Thanks for your inquiry. On paper, it should fit you for height and weight. In person, I am fairly confident that your shoulders will fit in, but you may have to go in with one shoulder first, and then the other to make sure you can fit between the left and right shoulder airbags. If there is a Relax the Back store near you, I would call them to see if they have the Super Novo in their showroom. Human Touch owns Relax the Back and usually has their Super Novo on display in those stores. I hope this helps. dr. w.

How do you turn the beeping off permanently? I shut it off, but every time the chair restarts, it defaults back to the beeping sound.

Hi, Fowad. The constant beeping is the chair's way of telling you that something is wrong with it. You will have to call Human Touch directly to get it diagnosed. Their number is 800-355--2762. I hope this helps. dr. w.

Thank you for your quick reply. Sorry, I mean in Settings, the last option is “Beep”. I turn it to “Off” - so that the remote doesn’t beep when pressing a button. It works fine. But it only works until i finish my massage and then when the chair turns off, apparently the “Beep” defaults back to “On” when the chair is turned back on. Is there a way to turn it to “Off” permanently?

@@jacnicdad You know, I've never noticed that. It must reset each time the chair starts over. Probably like the height setting. Although you set it at your height at the start of a program, you have to reset it at the beginning of every program thereafter. Again, I would contact Human Touch to see if there is a way to turn it off permanently. dr. w.

I'm surprised you finished the video without falling asleep lol.

Hi, Elnur. I'm sorry for not responding earlier. Prices can range up to $30K for the Bodyfriend Lamborghini chair and $15K for the OCHO M.8LE. But, for high end premium chairs, you can find plenty under $10K. The more expensive ones I mentioned earlier are charging for name and leather upholstery, respectively. dr. w.

Is luraco better the human touch or kahuna????

I would say that the US engineering and build of Luraco helps with quality control better than the other two. I can't speak to the customer support Kahuna, although I've heard things, but Human Touch and Luraco have very good customer support infrastructures. dr. w.

@@Steviewonderwhy Daiwa, Infinity, and Human Touch chairs are all made in, arguably, the best massage chair factory in China (Rotai). Great products. Of course, Luraco is made in the USA, for the most part, and Kahuna chairs are made in a smaller Chinese factory. The quality of the Daiwa, Infinity, Luraco, and Human Touch superior in my opinion. The customer support for all of the chairs is very good as well. dr. w.

The chair automatically restores to the home position when the program is over so the attempt at "safety" is a joke. Most frustrating thing is falling asleep then having the chair eject you when the program ends. Also no way to easily increment massage time. You only have options for 10, 20, or 30 minutes and that is after going about 4 layers deep in the cumbersome control menu. Changing the time would have been the best use of the worthless control knob.

Great feedback. Regarding the chair staying reclined when a program ends, that is something you can adjust when in the engineering mode of the chair's remote control. When the chair is restored to it's upright position and powered off, do the following: 1. switch off the power button at the back of the chair near the power source. 2. go to the remote control and hold the "up arrow" of the round circular "mouse" of the control. 3. while holding that arrow down, switch the power button back on at the back of the chair near the power source. 4. a blue screen should show up on the remote control with simple white text. 5. one of the options on that screen should the chair position when a program ends - use the right or left "arrows" of the round circular "mouse" to change the setting that will keep the chair reclined when the chair ends a program. That should do it. If this isn't clear, send me an email at alan@massage-chair-relief.com and I'll send a video to you that will demonstrate it. I hope this helps. dr. w.

Good product, but the ABSOLUTE WORSE customer service. White Glove delivery service/setup, in my experience, was NON-EXISTENT.
