THIS VIDEO IS INVALUABLE!! Got one of these chairs from Costco but decided to return it. Had to use professional movers to get it back to Costco, but the movers said they had no experience with these types of chairs and wouldn't do it. The manual was a little difficult to follow. So watched this video carefully and was able to easily disassemble the chair. Movers took it back disassembled to Costco and everything worked out. Thanks for posting!!!

Don't assume their delivery company will take it through a doorway that is less than 31.5". We bought this chair and today the delivery company refused to take it through and door less than 31.5". They did not want to take liability for turning it on its side and taking it through the door.

This video is excellent for learning how to take off the sides, but here's two things. One, you don't have to take off the calf massager to take off the sides, you just have to raise it. Two, once you take off the sides, you reduce the width to 25 inches so there is no need to turn the chair on its side to fit it through the door. In fact, if you turn it on its side, you're going to being trying to get the height of the chair which I believe is 41 inches, through the doorway which won't work. That being said, the information for taking off the sides is invaluable..

So, Why have you reclined the chair to disassemble and restored the chair to up right to reassemble the sides and calf massage? And to previous comment, why lay the chair on its side to go through a narrow doorway? Does that allow for more flexibility when turning through tight corners/spaces?

In your demonstration, you there was no reason to remove the sides of the chair.. If you are going to load the chair ON IT"S SIDE, the width now is independent of the WIDTH of the chair. True, the height of what is going through the door is shorter, but the WIDTH of what's going through the door is usually what matters Unless it is a very short doorway.

You missed the point. The sides of the chair would be damaged by the weight of the chair. The sides are not designed to support that much weight.

@@darknes7800 First, taking the chair through with both sides off and the chair upright is narrower than putting the chair on its side since the height of the chair is around 41 inches. Second, if the exercise was to take the chair through on its side and you were worried about the side not supporting the weight of the chair, you'd only need to take off one side to accomplish the task.
