@@rev3765 short trips are the worst. Better have it running like this in the video. Sure you might shorten the oil changing intervall. But I've been driving my Toyota CarinaE that way. Super healthy engine :D

My family had the same car. My mum used to drive me and my bro to school every day and owned this car for almost 10 yrs. It was my childhood car. I still remember when i first got my driving license, i picked up my dad and almost drove right into a ditch ~ It was an incredibly reliable car

I miss this old cars. No bullshit... if it says 220 on the speedometer, it goes 220

Соглашусь У меня универсал, но с таким же мотором едет быстрее. И максималка за 220 уходит. Семнадцатая ковка 215/40 17. 0-100 8.0 - 8.2 , как зацепишься в общем)

@@aba_dir 205/40 17 ему маловаты. Ставил уже. Да и показания спидометра врут тогда. 215/40 17 получается по высоте как его родные заводские 195/60 15.

Love this car since the first time I met it...it's pretty elegant, well finished, good performances (although I think it has more than 130 Cv claimed by the factory) pretty revving sound and not too high consums even when the car is being driven sporty....love this 90's japonese cars....and if you can test the P10 Primera 2.0 GT...would be great!!!

don’t know about the slx, but the t.e version my dad had in early 2000’s had more like 150/160hp (92 model) and my uncle his facelifted 2.0 had 150hp (video model although it had a slightly diffrent nose)

​@@yoshi555king they did actually make some 150hp slxs too for whatever reason. I've seen a few for sale in NZ where I live. Basically a primera with extra 20 hp. They didn't really make a 160hp primera in 92, the 92 GT only made 140 if I remember correctly and that was the best engine you could get for them untill the 1995-2001 models

Our family car was a Primera P10 1,6 slx. Well built car and super reliable. Had it for almost 20 years. Great car.

My P10 SR20Di was running 238km/h@7.500rpm (GPS) with only some small modifications. Best car ever.

Nissan Maxima would be nice to see with 3 liter V6 :)

It's going 200+ but gives you the excitement of going 300+ 😄 nice pretty silent good looking car

My dad had Hyudai Accent 1.3, 2003, 84hp. He always pushed it till the limit, crazy overtakings, super fun driving. He was doing 180 kmh last year, but I thing you can do little more. Try this car if you ever get chance, I will be so happy. Have a nice day!😃

The primera is super cool, 130 mph isn't a bad top speed for a little car like that 😊

Used to have a P10 G20 too. That engine was a wake-up. Got used to the noise until I had it serviced and the dealer shop loaned me a G35 while it was in the shop. What a difference more body insulation and a 3.5L V6 does!

The Japanese cars of the 90s are so good and cheap that they don't make them like that anymore, too good for the price, a jewel of a car!

Oh, I had a Primera P10 1995 2.0 SLX trim as first car back in the day. The rust finished it, but the engine was absolute winner in it and it was pretty eco to drive with about 7,5l/100 km

Now I own P10 2.0 slx from 1991...the body is still in great shape, for 5 years of ussage I didnt had any deffect,and it has plenty of power ...btw its my first car too. I love it!

My father had a Nissan Primera 2.0L diesel from 1999 until 2018. it could run pretty well and I'm guessing it could still do, but its a shame that the emission standards made the car illegal. Also somebody rear ended it. It was legally totalled but still worked perfectly fine, it was an absolute unit. I wish the car still existed, but for now I can just hope that I'll find a cheap Primera in the future.

In the city where i live now, a car salon is selling nissan primera 2000, 2.0L, manual and it's not diesel. What kind of problems have this car? I want to buy it because it is not so expensive, i think old japanese cars are monsters.

@@beginner8497 I know I'm a year late, but I'll still answer. The car (at least mine) really struggled in the highway. You could push it to its top speed no problem but expect NASA rocket sounds. I think it was the wind noise due to the window seals being very old. Not exactly sure but it felt like I was cruising with the windows open (because of the wind sound, not the actual wind). But if it is in good condition I doubt that will happen. It was a tank, as my dad said.

No way, I have 1995 mk1 Nissan primera eGT hatchback, this was nice to see.

My grandpa had one of these cars and I was going through photos I had randomly found and saw pics of their old cars and I have fond memories of going on holiday with my grandpa and granny in this car. They have unfortunate passed away and I'm turning 29 in June but yeah as a kid I remember washing this car for them for some pocket money. I was fascinated by the buttons haha felt like a lot of buttons when I was a kid. Id push them all while washing the car haha.

Impressive for the age and power. Nice car and nice engine. I own on in red in the past.

In America it's called the Sentra SE sedan (from 1998-2000) with the SR20DE engine. Minor facelift front and back but they are basically built on the same chassis. I used to have one back then. The SR20DE is a very solid engine, no doubt about it.

sentra=sunny. Sentra SE=Sunny super touring. All are the B chassis. P11 g20 is identical to primera P11. The P chassis. This is primera larger than the sentra

Nice video of a primer ride. Personally, I drive a Nissan micra k11 gasoline 1.0 60 km of power, which is the younger brother of the primera, a very good, trouble-free car. Overall, Nissan is a very good car. Best regards ;-)

Ich fahre so einen 2.0 SLX im Winter allerdings als limo. Und im Sommer fahre ich nen Primera GT. Ist ein krasser Unterschied zwischen dem 131ps SR20 und dem 150ps SR20 im GT

I also owned this car. I'm amazed that it reaches this speed before running out of petrol. One of the most inefficient engines ever made.

Schönes Auto der 90er, mein Opa hat den Primera in der Si Ausstattung mit dem 1,6er 90ps Motor! Macht Spaß mit dem Auto! Hätten die alten Japanischen Fahrzeuge nie das Problem das es an den Schwellern los geht zu Rosten, oder allgemein an der Karosserie wegrosten!!!

A friend of mine had a Nissan Sunny Gti and it was this same engine but in a lighter chassis. Red lines at 7000rpm with a note I could just about hear in the sound of that Primera at 200km/hr. Thing was an absolute animal and we used to race and beat so many other hatches. It was rare and so made it all the more epic. Happy times.

@@user-yk7fw8fn4n what country this Primera sold/bay? In Europa this model P11 in 2001 has 140 hp. Old model P11 GT has 150 hp but only years 1996-99. 1999-01 sr20de has 140 HP, stock.

ich hatte denn gleiche Model mit sonderausstattungen .Ein super gute Auto kein probleme mit der motor fahrwerk war mit der sonderausstattung gewindefahrwerk. sportlich sah das aus geile sound und fur gut . durch ein aufprall unfall ist die karoserie verzogen also totalschaden 😞
