W124 was from the 80s. It carried into the 90s but production methods changed and the later ones weren’t as good. The 90s is when Mercedes started to go downhill rapidly
a 90s car with a V12 which is so quiet is kinda impressive.

That's because the exhaust system plays a huge role as these were design for comfort and luxury, a custom exhaust on a V12 engine makes it roar like a Pagani.
Imagine seeing this on the autobahn, a W124 casually flying by 😂✈️

Oder du fährst gemütlich mit deinem S63 AMG im Begrenzer, und dann rauscht 'n 124er ohne Typschild an dir vorbei! 😂 Wäre es meiner - hätte er noch unauffälligere Felgen, - hätte er keine übertriebenen Seitenleisten, - hätte er innen den Serienhimmel und - es würde 200E dranstehen. 🤭

Тот случай, когда машина может, но водителю реально страшно дальше разгоняться. Чистый зверь…. А ведь это 124 Мерседес!!!! Какая работа проделана инженерами!!!! Всё продуманно было на многие десятилетия вперед. Невероятный потенциал!!!!

Мне удивило тот факт что на одной передаче машина разгонялся от 80 кмч до 180 и не переключался на другой передаче 2:02

@@01---001 Ничегоо удивительноого Смотри, дело в передаточных числах, у мерседесов тех лет , оооочень длинные передачи были, это делалось для плавности хода, к примеру на Е500 , была 4ст акпп. У меня лично был 2 литровый 124, с 4 ст мкпп, так вот на ней как раз ограничение оборотов на 3 передаче было 160 км\ч , т.е. я мог воткнуть 3ю на 60 или даже 40 и продолжать разгон до 160

Насколько легко идёт набор скорости, песня. Разгон до 100 и далее до 200 он делает играючи, это чувствуется даже с экрана. 200км.ч каких то 4 т.об. это просто шикарно) Браво, всем тем, кто занимался проектированиемэтого этого авто.

I own a 1988 W126 with a M113k 5.5 W211 E55 AMG swapped engine and my 1991 W126 560 SEL has a M120.990 7.3 out of a R129 S73 AMG V12 585 Hp 738 Ft lbs of torque!! Sold my 1995 W202 C36 AMG recently and got a W202 C43 and C55 AMG
