12:14 Is still one of the more athletic plays you'll see in football. That hurdle in stride is so bad ass!

You are spot on. For what it’s worth, Novacek was a decathlete at Wyoming and participated in the 1984 Olympic trials. He was a tremendous athlete to say the least.

@@nmelkhunter1the cowboy's were an elite team one of the best all time I noticed their defense had a dynamic 4-3 to 3-4 change up and their offense was stacked with weapons as the defense but that stood out

The Cowboys talent singlehandedly cancelled out the potential Schottenheimer/Switzer coaching mismatch.

Yeah, Switzer was not a good coach. I recall he said that when Cowboys lose, he gets the blame, and when they win, people say they only won because of all that talent. I think that was spot on. Cowboys probably would have won 4 or 5 Superbowls if Jimmy Johnson would've stayed.

The Chiefs had the best record at that the time. The Cowboys won this game and then lost their next two then won the last two regular season games and won in the playoffs and the Super Bowl. The Chiefs lost in the divisional round to the Colts thanks to former Cowboy kicker Lin Elliot.

We lost to Jim Harbaugh or Jeff George? It was Jim. We actually held them at a goal line stand in the red zone.

The greatest offensive line in NFL history was the 1995 Dallas Cowboys line from Week 1 to this Thanksgiving Day game against the Chiefs. After Ray Donaldson broke his ankle in this game, the Cowboys OL was still very good, but they were not the same as evidenced by back to back losses after this impressive Thanksgiving Day victory. From 1992-1995, the Cowboys were the most dominant dynasty in NFL history and of those 4 juggernaut squads, the 1995 squad scored the most points, gave up the least number of sacks, committed the least number of penalties, and the OL had the most combined career Pro Bowl appearances (e.g., 29 appearances) of any OL in NFL history.

Troy was a Westcoast QB his playing style was drop steps and release your best OL got held in the red zone at a goal line stand your OL didn't buy your QB extra time like ours did Steve Bono who wasn't as great but good enough to stand in the pocket a few seconds longer to choose the steak or the lobster 😂

I don’t give a crap HOW DEVALUED the TB position is; Draft us a stud RB and keep improving our OL. That and a great D (which we have) can win us a Chip!!! And we can lose Shultz now. We have 2 very good looking young TEs who look a lot like Novacek, athletically. #DC4L

Even though the Chiefs went 13-3 that season it was a soft 13-3; the only team they beat all season that finished with a winning record was San Diego and they were just 9-7. Dallas was the only real good team they played that year and this game was no contest.
