The last Seville STS rolled off the assembly line on May 16, 2003. Only the SLS remained for 2004. The last SLS rolled off the assembly line in December 4, 2003.

These cars are very fast!! And they were the only American Luxury Muscle cars at the time next to the Eldorado and the Lincoln Mark VIII. Only the Cadillac and Lincoln has that old school muscle car sound and feel.

Of course in the age of the internet, this commercial can be completely debunked and come to find out that the Cadillac was sorta fibbing about the stats

Seriously no point comparing this FF with the other competitions... If this Caddy were FR then maybe it was worth taking a look. But NO......

Well, I guess that means that the BMW has a fater 0-60 time. And why were they comparing a 6 cylinder Mercedes to a v8 Cadillac? What an unfair commercial...

Rather old comment, but I believe price point may be a factor.

@@jwatwater not necessarily always true. Cylinder count doesn’t really mean all that much anymore. I’ve owned 4 cylinder cars that are more powerful than some V8s.

Yeah, and that '93 Seville started to fall to bits the day it left the dealership and has probably long since ended up in a junkyard while all three of the competition will likely be still be going strong and it's not unreasonable to think there will be many examples driving for another twenty-plus years on the original engines and transmissions

Personally I really like the LS 400, especially for its reliability and longevity, I still see roadworthy examples everyday - as for the Seville STS, it would have piqued my interest if the “Northstar system” included power to all four wheels, or the engine was longitudinally set for rear-drive application with all the engineering for superior handling. It was an interesting looking car for that time though. My wishes were answered in 2004 with the rear drive caddy STS v8, sexy as hell.... wish they kept it for a little longer. That car had legs for more than just 6 years....should have been more like 20, with slight updates in style, reliability and durability issues ironed out and refined... but what do I know ::shrug::

european competition is nice but not when Cadillac finally stepped up and finally offered something to compete on the world level once again.

Why buy European.....when you can have a less reliable car with poorer depreciation, who's interior looks like it was designed by a 3 year old. GM has taken DECADES to catch up to the rest of the world
