I remember being in awe of these when they debuted

Check out the exterior styling of the 1980 Ferrari Pinin showcar. The Seville STS looks very much like the Pinin. Perhaps it inspired this design.

Ironically the first year was the best, since the 4.9 was under-stressed and reliable, where the Northstar proved dodgy in the long run.

my first car was a 92 seville sts and it was one of the best cars i’ve ever driven if you were to ever buy one of these, It’s the first year of the generation that you would want

as someone who's owned this car I don't understand why they raided so slow to 60 miles an hour it's way faster

I don’t know what the 4.9L STS would do 0-60MPH but I can attest that my parents bought a 1993 Diamond White Northstar equipped STS brand new when I was a kid and that car was a solid 6.8 second or quicker 0-60MPH car ALL DAY LONG. * Don’t forget about the Northstar STS’s 155MPH top speed. A true euro fighter❗️

Sucked in car fumes. Starter motors are garbage, had to warranty twice due to worn solenoids which cannot be serviced. Seat motors allow a little rocking, and recliners are unavailable and none work. Beer can body, major POS.

I’ve never seen a Seville of this body style that didn’t have condensation inside the tail lights. And then it’s a 50/50 chance of having head gasket problems. The Cadillac also being front wheel drive while the European competition and the Lexus LS400 had rear wheel drive. So many negatives with the Cadillac.
