REO's "Hi Infidelity" was a GREAT album. There's a REASON that the most successful radio stations now are those that feature '70s, '80s music. Can you imagine a station promoting "the best of the '90s"? After they played 5 or 6 songs, what would they do? Cut to a car dealership live remote?

Dennis Cassley I love the 70s and 80s rock, but you can’t underestimate 90s rock, Rock bands from the 70s, 80s we’re still making hits in the 90s then came along came new acts such as smashing pumpkins, Radiohead,oasis,311,rage against the machine, Stone temple pilots, nine inch nails, primus, rancid, Did I mention the bands from the north west??

Damn! Sharon Osborn was right on the money. The 80's was the last decade where an artist/band had any chance of growing. Here we are in 2019, and with shit like iTunes and Spotify, the hit single is all the record companies give a shit about. No one on the business side gives two fucks about a hit album, they just want the quick buck, so they get a hit out of an artist and slap it up in iTunes or whatever. And the artists are the ones that really get fucked, because they're forced to just write hit single after hit single. I miss the days when a band/artist had to really work hard at having both a legitimate hit single AND A GREAT ALBUM!

Man, if people think Rock started dying in 1981, I can't ait to see the Behind The Music on the year 2013 LMAO! I'd rather listen to ANYTHING from 1981 over anything from 2013.
