Steve Perry of Journey interview slideshow 1984, part 1 of 2

Музыка

Steve Perry of Journey, interviewed by Lisa Robinson, promoting his then new solo album 'Street Talk'. Part one of two parts.
I created this slideshow, edited the audio and uploaded it but look for it on 'beerxpress' and others channels in a week or two when they get around to copying this video too.
Steve Perry versus Arnel arguments will be deleted immediately and the posters blocked.

I'm so proud of him for being so damn real......no one ever in the limelight, being a big star and all would admit they were on welfare to eat, he is so pure and honest....I use him as an example with my parents I work with, simply as in setting goals can be anything they wish if they are willing to work and have faith.....thank you steve for being a real guy and never forgetting where your dreams came from

I closed my eyes to wholly hear and absorb the unique tones and depth of his art-as all-encompassing to me as when I gazed from the view of Monet's Japanese bridge at Giverny above the water lilies and watched the willows dance in the breeze as it ruffled my hair, soaking in the fragrance of the foliage wafting through the air and listened to the birds do their original rendition of song. I think he's says that too because he is/was a perfectionist which he did say in an interview before, so I'm not making it up. As a singer myself you're always feeling like you're just not quite there( vocally), you'll have moments where you'll like the way you sing a certain part of a song and it sounds the way you heard it in your head but it's never usually the whole songs that you like. In the past, when I would listen to the playback of me singing it was like listening to my voicemail recording, so just imagine that 😄. Overtime though I've been able to get past it, especially since I want to improve my voice, so I need to hear what areas need improvement, but If I hear my recordings for long periods of time it starts to become a bit annoying. I don't even get me started on live performing, that's the time when you really pick apart every single thing you did.
