I'm amazed by the quality of the metal on this piece. There was minimal pitting in the metal, which is prevalent in most older pieces. You're work is always amazing and I like your high tech equipment that I can only dream about. Thanks for sharing this video.

Another superb restoration from one of the OG's before a lot fo these fake channels popped up. I also respect the fact that although you hate spiders, you didn't kill it and set them free. :)

WIth all the rust of it the sheetmetal and decay of the paint, I would've sworn everything you did would've been a destructive process... and then you took the cap into the sandblast booth... wow... Just... wow... My hats' off, sir.

Chip, this is without doubt a gorgeous restoration. Beautiful paint job. The way you "just" make new hubcaps, awesome.

The fixed cars table looks like my dream as a little boy, tonka cars were my favorite thing ever in the sandbox as they never broke, i loved those old trucks so much

This brought back so many memories for me! I had a later model of this truck, in the early 70s. Where yours is blue, mine was green. I loved that truck - many happy hours were spent with it in the sandpit!

I have over 35 years of restoration and I can truly say you did a full 10 point restore. I hate people that hand sand a project and after all that hard work gets painted by can wow, I not going to give away secret but I got it, and that's how it should be done. FIR THAT FIVE ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

You are the best sand blaster…everyone else be skipping little parts

One of my favorite smells as a child was the sent of a new Tonka truck.

I know it’s silly, but thanks for not killing the little guy. Those spiders are about as close to a dog as you can get. So curious and harmless! Also, another great restoration!!

I live in Australia, the home of all spiders and try never to kill them. The big ones usually get the compressed air treatment, ( harmlessly blown out the workshop) if they come inside. I use compressed air as trying to capture them usually results in injury as they run around batshit crazy when you corner them.

Jumping Spiders are fun. Their movement is also very robotic if watch them move about. I don't know where Chip is located but our Jumping Spiders aren't that big. Ours look like little jumping beans when they're moving about. :)
