Thank you for posting this series of Christmas videos of a family that span over 20 years. I am amazed at the collection of David Forgie. I have watched and enjoyed most of them from this past December until now - but continue to look for more. I have enjoyed watching the characters start out as little kids then become adults. Looks like a wonderful close family and from the many films I have seen ....it's almost like I have come to know them personally. I'd love to know how all were related - I can only guess who was mom & dad - and kids and possibly grandkids in the later films. Looks like Harriet got married and more kids came. There are some other relatives that show up later, and trying to figure out who they were. And all the COOL retro toys and gifts!! Also wondering how many in that clan are still with us today. So I'm trying to figure out who's who, but difficult with only movies. I can't get over the size of the Christmas trees the family had in the 40s, 50s, & 60s - huge and beautiful - with classic lights and old lead tinsel. Wish I was there and a part of that joy! I love historical films of real life people and families!! Many thanks again. BTW, which one of you in the films is responsible for these films coming to KZread?

You? Know what it's so nice about looking at the old Christmas from the 5060s. Even the early seventies are the. The big old lights the ice circles? And some of the ornaments everything was shiny and you truly wasn't always perfect but always big and looking at the old furniture in the curtains I. Really. Enjoy it thank you.

Family and friends getting together and enjoying the holiday interacting. Now, they are all on their phones instead of interacting with each other. That wonderful world is forever lost. Grandma smoking was so cool.

What's cool about Grandma smoking? Everyone in my family smoked as a kid growing up, and after doing so myself for 30 years, i got lung cancer. Nothing cool about it.

Amazing window on the past. I have about 10K feet of 16mm home movies. It’s sadly beginning to decay. No good remedy.

I would be happy to talk to you about archiving your family films.... You can visit my website Archive16.com. Or feel free to call me at 239-299-8500 much better quality in both captures and file quality for long time preservation of your family memories... But I would not wait too long because as these films start to decay the process accelerates and they may be lost forever.
