I will rank some of the popular trending health habits I see online. Some of these are awesome, but a lot of them are stupid.
Cold plunges. Many reports claim that cold plunges reduce inflammation, increase immune function, and more. But they are simply the newest version of the cold shower.
Extreme diets. The body needs complete proteins and essential amino acids, which vegans will say they get from legumes and nuts. Paleo or carnivore isn't good, either. A balanced diet is the way to go.
Restrictive breathing. Whether it's the masks you see people wearing at the gym when doing cardio or the tape worn over the mouth, I give it a fail.
TRT. Get frustrated with guys on TRT that don't need it. They can boost their own testosterone naturally.
Extremely low body fat percentage. When your body fat is too low, your body will not operate optimally. Body fat helps to optimize testosterone and regulate hormone function.
Colon cleansers. If you're not dropping a deuce regularly, something's going on, whether it's not eating enough fiber, not being hydrated, or your microbiome is out of whack.
Pre-, pro-, and post-biotics. These have an overall effect on your well-being and health. Gut health is related to all kinds of benefits, but unfortunately, lifestyle and medications can interfere with the healthy bacteria growing in the gut. Symbiotic Plus will take care of each for you.
Drinking 120 oz of water daily. If you're not properly hydrated, your body can suffer, and you won't look or feel as good.
Saunas. They are great because they get you to breathe and sweat. When you sweat, your body releases toxins and other build-up in your lymph system.
No FAP. It's not good for your body, prostate, or mindset.
Not watching p^rn. This is amazing for your health because these movies destroy your mind and dopamine. They can also be destructive to your relationship.
Dopamine detox. Dopamine is a motivational juice that gets flowing to get you motivated. Doing a dopamine detox, such as removing social media or abstaining/limiting screen time, is highly beneficial.
Retention. This gets a big thumbs down because men must do this at least 21 times monthly to keep themselves healthy. If you're not, you won't be reducing stress or being as healthy as possible.
Mary Jane. Cigarettes suck, but smoking weed will reduce your motivation and testosterone.
Working out. Lifting weights and doing cardio daily are tremendously beneficial for your temple.
Gratitude. Regularly practicing gratitude will make you feel more satisfied and aware of the good things you should embrace and focus on. Focus on love, family, and friends.
Friends and family. Being surrounded by people who care about and uplift you is healthy and makes you feel good. It will boost your self-esteem and make you clearer and stronger mentally.

You should watch the documentary "The Game Changers (2018)", because you sound super ignorant complete proteins, every plant has "complete proteins", only collagen is a "incomplete protein" because tryptophan is missing in it. In one video you are bashing on men who are "praying" on the weak and vulnerable and the other you are bashing vegans for not wanting to kill and exploit innocent beings who can't defend themselves.

Must add one of the worst men's habits of all time? Drinking beer. I know everybody likes beer, but if it becomes a habit, it's very bad and that starts with losing testosterone and gaining fat, plus many other side effects from the alcohol.

“ A balanced diet is the way to go.” The American Dietary Association has said this from day one. This, and their recommendation to eat a wide variety of foods. Doing these with the Mediterranean diet as a guide seems to be the best way to go.

I’m going to be that guy but… veganism isn’t a diet, it is way of life that avoids participation of animal abuse as much as possible. There are healthy and not so healthy plant-based diets. You can get all your dietary requirements on a balanced plant based diet, with only vitamin b12 that requires supplementing (these supplements are also given to the animals you eat). The World Health Organization deems a balanced plant based diet safe at all stages of life. Many vegan athletes are evidence that you don’t need to harm animals to thrive. So the only reasonable excuse to consume meat and dairy is that it tastes good, but is that justifiable? A whole life traded for a few minutes of pleasure.

I gotta disagree with the no fap and the semen retention. I can’t speak to everyone but can say for myself it’s changed my life in a positive sure a release is good but doing it to frequently isn’t good and a person typically gets addicted to this and it leads to different problems let it be E.D and poor focus. I also see the benefit when it comes to women ya don’t just think about smashing and ultimately that leads to you getting more women cause you have more self control. Lastly i must say I have more energy now I’m not gonna act like it’s a drastic boost but releasing gets you tired thus say doing it in the beginning of your day ultimately starts your day slower

Just thought I'd mention, if a person is in good shape and don't have issues with their guts, AND don't take medications that could affect the micro-biome in the gut, AND in general eat balanced meals including fibery foods they shouldn't have to take a pro-biotic. If your digestive system seems to be off try them. Another good one is branded "RAW". You shouldn't have to take them all the time, mostly just to recover from something that messed up the gut. You can take them for about 3 - 4 days, let that take in, in about the same number of days off do that round one more time, then off for a longer stretch. If you need a 3rd or 4th dosing do that for 2 - 3 days in a row. In this way you're taking at most about 14 days worth spread out over about 3 weeks. The point being that this is supposed to start becoming part of your natural biome and you shouldn't have to keep supplementing it. However if you have to take meds that mess it up, then you may want to take it on a regular basis.

If you do have gut health issues, starting off with a bit of cleansing isn't a bad thing, but yes - absolutely needs to just be a bridge followed by proper pre and probiotics, drinking enough water and eating a clean diet. We all have different experiences that lead us to our own opinions and opinions are like a-holes, everybody's got one. That said, my dude rated no fap and cold plunges as being worse than smoking. Aaron, did you bump your head or did you just get done listening to a bunch of people/ videos rambling on about those things? lol

What about edibles? So I read this article that if you smoke before working out it’s a better workout. Cuz getting a buzz makes you more focused on the activity at hand. I tried it out and it was the best workout I ever had. The best form I ever had.

I wouldn’t recommend smoking because it damages your cardiovascular system. I would be skeptical about edibles too because from what I’ve been reading, it appears that THC lowers testosterone. But I believe that is prolonged use, so take that as you will.

Disappointed to hear you rate cold exposure so low, but not elaborate as to why. Also disappointed that you wrote off mouth-taping so hastily. Breathing through your nose when sleeping is essential. Mouth-breathing is dangerous, and tape can often correct this. As a nasal CPAP user, I must tape to prevent mouth leak, as does Derek. Yes, that Derek.

I think the nofap / retention rating was on purpose to try and illicit a response for more engagement. There's just absolutely no way you'd rate them an F- unless you haven't actually done it yourself for an extended period of time. (30+ days) Nothing else even compares to what happens after retaining for 30+ days. It changes your life. As someone who is supposed to be a self-improvement channel... it's weird that the habits that ACTUALLY work are listed as invalids in your opinion. Something doesn't add up here... I'm not a hater, but that's honestly hate worthy.

So talking about cold plunges is annoying, but also hearing people to go to the gym or at least exercise isn’t?? Regardless if it’s very annoying, it still has benefits. It doesn’t matter whatsoever. Cold plunges are an A tier. It’s only not good is if your body can’t handle the cold or else you may get a stroke. Just because someone keeps talking about it & being annoying about it doesn’t mean you have to lower it to a D-. Plus, you didn’t really explain why you place it as D- except people being annoying talking about it. No disrespect, but advertising every video can be annoying, meaning you are those annoying people, right?? You see how that doesn’t make any sense? Even if you advertise every video and being annoying, there are STILL benefits to that(You getting paid, and people enjoy the products). I know it’s your opinion, but based on articles about cold plunges, it has so many benefits for your body. The only time it’s bad to cold plunge is after a workout. You have to wait at least 4 hours after your workout to cold plunge or take a cold shower. But taking a cold plunge BEFORE you workout, there’s no down side other than being uncomfortable. Everything else on your tier list, fine, but cold plunge as a D-, maybe rethink or try it yourself & stay discipline to keep that going

Spreading uneducated misinformation on topics you clearly don’t know enough about to speak on. A vegan diet can be one of the most healthy and is the most sustainable and ethical diet there is. The WHO has even said it can be healthy for all walks of life and all plants have all 9 essential amino acids just in different variety and that’s why you eat a variety of them. Protein originates from plants. Anyways thank you for everything and good luck to your future videos.
