16th August 2022 - Downpours across Lincolnshire
Ойын-сауық
An 8 day long heatwave (with temperatures above 30c on every day) breaks with torrential downpours. Following over a month of dry weather the rains were likely to cause flooding partially due to the hard, baked ground. Storms did not contain much lightning but the high moisture content of the atmosphere meant that torrential rain was very likely.

Great video once again thanks for sharing
Great video 👍
There were some nice lightning strikes between Market Rasen and Caistor in the afternoon, then a storm seemed to linger around Barton on Humber for a while. That rain was rather nasty though.

It was frustrating 😂. The lightning you are talking about was from the same storm I was under and had given up on due to lack of activity. It erupted into life just too far away for me to catch before it died away again.
Awesome video like always I bet you have had a busy couple of days did you manage to get down to the Kent storms

Thank you. I only chased on the 16th as Lincolnshire is not too far for me to travel. Being from Derbyshire, Kent was a little far considering the uncertainties over how good the storms would be.
