I can go a little longer each session without resting/stopping, but I've done this workout probably 5-6 times now and I still am no where near doing it all without stopping. I only use 1lb weights on each ankle too.

i used this as my daily exercise to strengthen my thighs again to walk after i broke my leg. this gave me more of a burn in my thighs than physical therapy does😂

This was the first of your workouts I have completed, and it was a killer routine! I am pretty sure it would have been very effective even without the ankle weights. Great set! Hi Larie. I had COMPLETELY given up with workouts because I always end up hurting myself. But I brought back those ankle weights from my family home and today I had the idea to search for a workout included them. I am SO glad I clicked on your video because for the FIRST time (and boy have I tried a lot of home workouts and KZread channels) I felt like I completely understood every single movement. You always explain where we should feel it, if we might need to go towards one direction or the other, where it might hurt and what we can do to adjust. Every single question I could have, you replied to in the workout. Thank you SO much, finally a fitness teacher that seems to get how many questions can pop up in my head all the time. ♥️ I just subbed

Strength training will strengthen muscles in whatever area your targeting. Typically with strength training you may experience muscle hypertrophy. ❤️

I personally would not! If hypertrophy/gaining muscle is your goal you want to train the muscles but also let them recover so they can grow. I can’t remember what weight I used yesterday let alone 2 years ago lol those are 10 pound ankle weights that are adjustable sooo probably around 8ish lbs maybe? This made me cry too. BW only would be tough honestly

Weights are NOT recommended for beginners! When working the outer thigh(upper leg) heel should be higher , toes facing downward!
