Welcome to Day 6 of the Evening Yoga Movement! Tonight I'm guiding you through a 15 minute evening yoga class with some of my all time favorite poses. In yin yoga, poses are held for about 2-3 minutes per side. The intention is to relax our muscles and let ourselves sink into the pose. Yin yoga is also a fantastic style of yoga for flexibility.

You should be ready for bed after this 15 min yin yoga evening stretch. We'll explore poses like deer, modified knee pile, thread the needle and wrist stretches. This sequence is suitable for all levels and will get into your hips, hamstrings, upper back and wrists.

I started doing this challenge with my mom over facetime so we have a way to connect with each other after a long day. I moved 2000 miles away from her recently and this series has been awesome for us ❤️

Tysm for saying to push your hips to the left/right in thread the needle pose. I've never been told that before and always wondered why I never felt anything in the pose!

#GoodEvening This one was amazing. Something has been stuck tight in my right hip for days now and this just released it. Also, halfway through while repeating the affirmation I realized the infinite source of love also included love for myself. This was liberating!
I’m not a huge fan of yin, prefer the slow flows and stretch slow flows, but I am committed to this 30day programme so im in 🙌. I appreciate that we are holding each yin pose for a shorter time than typical yin 👍. So Thankyou for that, still a great calming stretch to end the day and reflect. Loving having a affirmation in any practice or mindful thoughts directed during yoga classes as something to dedicate and reflect on when minds wander. Also doing the 30day morning movement again as I’m sure many are. Xx equally wonderful. #goodevening

Just wanted to write the same. I tried yin classes only once or twice, since i could not enjoy. Now a struggle too, not to fidget. Guess a good challenge for me, since i am restless otherwise too;) but enjoying the effects before sleep still. We can do this;)

@@annaboda08 i know this comment is old, but when I can't sit in a yin pose I find that means I've gone too far! if you can find your "edge" where you feel it a little but its not overbearing, you're able to relax into the pose and slowly go further! hope this helps

I started to do this 2 years ago, i wish to have version 2 of bedtime yoga. I really enjoying because i feel relax and calm. Thank you
today was my first time in a very long time doing yin yoga. I never really practiced it with a good intent other than stretching out my body. today felt a bit different towards the end of the night. I feel uncertain if I am doing it right but with time and faith I'll get the hang of it. thank you Kassandra for helping me everyday!

First of all, I love your yoga classes; I checked others, and just didn't do it for me. I am also so very grateful for your short flows (10-15 mins); they helped me stay with my practice which I had just begun more seriously year before Covid hit and everything shut down. Although I progressed to including longer classes, I love the shorter ones for days I am short on time and for after other workouts. Also my senior cat, Socrates, loves to lay down next to me every time I do yoga. Thank you Kassandra! Love and light to you! 💖🧘♀️

#goodevening...I have been following you since February at the insistence of my daughter and granddaughter..They were worried about me...I was in a really stressful situation and I was looking and feeling pretty bad..on February first I started doing the morning challenge...Within a few days I started noticing a slight difference.. As I continued with your practices I started to really have a change in myself...Anxiety started to lessen.. I was able to sleep better and feel better ..They saw me a few weeks later and noticed the change in me.. I can now face daily challenges without falling apart...I still get anxious but now It doesn't stay with me very long...And they don't occur very often...Thank you so much for being here,,,You are an angel...Namaste...

#GoodEvening checking in, one day behind of course, lol. What a great class tonight for a horseback rider! I had a stubborn colt I worked for 2 hrs today, felt that in my back, but that thread the needle felt so good!! As a rider my posterior chain and hamstrings are super loose from riding, but my hips, glutes and back, a lot tighter, so what a great class to get into all those areas!!! Loosing my hips up with all the yoga has really helped my riding, along with all the anatomy knowledge that comes from practicing yoga!! So Thank you so much Kassandra!!❤❤🐴🐴
