120 lb: Homemade Slingbow with Speargun Rubber (incl. How To)
Ғылым және технология
The Slingshot Channel showed several slingbows, but this time, two things are different. First, the new design really looks and shoots like a recurve bow. The string is replaced by rubber (different thicknesses).
Also, the new slingbow allows very quick band changes. The presented range goes from children strength (25 lb) all the way up into the English warbow league (120 lb).
Homemade arrows are also presented.
This video includes some instructions!
A "The Slingshot Channel" production.

He goes into Slayer mode whenever he fires a slingshot and for just a moment, we see the Beast-Sprave--a merciless, slingshot-slinging, arrow-slammin', whittle-a-bazooka-out-of-wood-and-shoot-through-a-car-door machine of a man. He'll turn to the camera and he's all full of murder. Then, he goes back to regular Joerg Sprave and he starts smiling and laughing. I've noticed this in several of his videos. Anyone else?

Lol I get comments like this about my expression when I'm playing guitar, it's probably just his "focused" face.

Dear Joerg! Thank you so very much for this design! It helps me to come back in the live as an instrument of physiotherapy. Summer 2010 I've got a intracranial hemorrhage and my left side was comlete out of function. After 1 year, I was so reconstructed, that I began with shooting again first with revolver, than I try a bow but all bows where to strong for me. So I've build this slingbow and began with very soft theraband and increase it from one month to the other. So I was in the 2nd rehabilitation able to shot with a soft sporting bow.

He is already saving the world by teaching the better people on how to make quite a helpful hunting tool
180 cm (5' 9"). That used to be on the tall side when I was a youngster - but today everybody seems to be over 6'.
3:15 my reaction when someone puts the milk back in the fridge in the morning with just a dribble left.

i love the look you give after you shoot each arrow...the cameraman doesn't even follow where the arrow goes, it's all about the look of satisfaction :)

I like how deadly serious you are in this video Joerg. Because unlike your other creations, this is a straight up utility weapon you've made. Sure, archery is fun, but it's important to stress that while fun, it is not a toy.

Lol are you sure you have seen his other creations? The majority of them are rather deadly...
I only just stumbled upon this old video!!! I must say that compared to your latest stuff, in this video you seem very serious and not as bubbly! Whatever the reason was, it's good to see that you're much happier today and full of smiles and the booming laughter that we all love so much!

METHOD ONE your right ,I much prefer the “ let me show you it’s features “ Ha ha ha ...
OK, to all the ppl who KEEP On asking where to buy the rubber tubes etc, or even therabands, and maybe even buy a book....you go to a web search engine, some of them include Yahoo, Google etc. In the box where u type to search for things, type Spearfishing gun rubber bands, and amazingly, the search engine "SEARCHES" the internet and finds places that sell them. There now you all Know how the internet works, go forth and multiply. ;-)
That damn look on his face after each shot he makes. Like: " I told ya...." xD
I miss this intro..... still love the content all these years later
I wish I could have seen this video when I was younger and made one myself. I always loved the old bow and arrows.

Awesome design Joerg ,simple and obviously very effective! Love all your videos, kudos to your wife for all the hard work she does in shooting your videos, she does a perfect job of following you and getting in close, while you explain everything.
Hi Joerg, I like your videos, one of these days, i'll try one of your designs. Note : this is very sad what you did to that poor beer in this one ;-) Note 2 : I like very much how the nun stares @ you, was it staged ?

Leute, die sagen du kannst kein englisch lügen. Es ist natürlich klar, dass du dich nicht wie ein echter Amerikaner anhörst aber deine Grammatik und Vokabeln sind richtig! Weiter so
You're one of the few people who can a 120 lb bow.
That's the best part of his videos. He really loves what he does!
I love the face he gives after each hit. He knows he's a boss. YOU know he's a boss. No words are needed.
i like how your always happy and chuckling all the time
I love how he turns to the camera and just looks like a badass after he shoots an arrow.
The face expression of satisfaction after each shot is sooo priceless=)
This is awesome! Love that someone finally made a "bow" type wpn that uses the elasticity of the string to launch the arrow down range and not the arms. going to build one soon lol
ah, a beautiful hybrid of slingshot and bow :) easy to carry, store, and string. always enjoy seeing your vids Jörg. keep up the solid work, my man.
This is quite impressive. A low tech method of making a high powered bow. Bravo.
I love the serious look you always give us after you shoot.
I love the way he looks at the camera after every use of the weapon.
Joerg, Of all your creations I like this one the best. Simple, Straight Forward, Effective. In the event of emergency like flood or fire where you may need to fend for yourself; a nice simple weapon like this can be the difference between eating or starving.
These videos are the best. You never fail to please. I am amazed at all your ideas!
Music is critical, youtube often mutes the audio and/or blocks the video in several countries. Long live the pirates! Hope these guys change some of these stupid laws.
i have never been so intimidated and impressed at the same time in my life
Thanks for this idea. I've been trying to find a gift for my younger cousin for Christmas, and I think this, along with a couple of foam-tipped arrows, will be it.
This is awesome. You sir are a gentleman and a scholar, and have earned this subscription!
Love the idea just wish you could demonstrate your stuff over a longer distance as even an elastic band firing a paper pellet can go really quite fast!
Hey Joerg, I just wanted to say that the look you give the viewers after firing just looks plain badass. Keep up the amazing and creative creations :)
the way he looks at the camera after he releases the arrow .. the look of epicness
I love the "badass" look you do after every shot.
Thank you for giving me something to look forward after coming home after work!
That damn look after every shot is just priceless.
this is one of my favorite thing you've done.perfect for post apocalypse zombie hunting lol, great job! i wish you could sell these!
Yes, I used Dacron D50 and the constriction knot to make the nock more solid, The gloves are motorbike gear, great for slingshot shooting - protected on the outside, thin and smooth on the inside.
so awesome. thanks again for the informative and super entertaining content. im going to start shooting again, thanks to you. hope you still have fun making these videos and building this stuff
He is great. I love the look he gives after he shoots. Kind of like the same look David Blain gives the camera after one of his street tricks. LOL
Thank you for the DIY instructions. I always thought bows had to flex to shoot well, your bow proves that wrong.
Thanks for the small how to, this is definitely something i would love to make!
Amazing bow! I love it! Joerg, you are a self preservation Genius! That thing rocks big time!
that slo mo exploding monster energy drink is like the coolest shot ever
you are by far the coolest guy i have ever seen in my life i have watched like all your videos today since i found your channel :P
JoergSprave, Thanks for reminding us that there are still epic people in the world.
Bought the broadheads from an archery store, quite cheap. I added the measurements to the video, from 3:40 onwards.
he did a podcast where he first showed did his russian accent, and often, im not hating on him or anyone, i love the vids, you just blew this way out of proportion.
i love when he shoots then looks at the camera all serious then smiles
hey man if you do not like the video do not see, I'm not a fanboy but I enjoy it does not need to mess with the channel
Man, your videos have really convinced me that I need to move away from the city. it'll be much easier to do fun stuff like this living in the countryside.
That badass look Joerg gives after he fires a shot.
Wow this thing puts my longbow to shame lol. Never under estimate the genius of a bald man with an accent. Awesome design.
Ich habe den Ton schon runtergeregelt auf Normalniveau... und mir gefällt das Intro.
I am impressed! A formidable weapon...
I'm so jealous of your garden it's lovely
Ilike this a lot its so simple and powerful, thats its secret :simplicity. great job...
1 of your best creation !!! 120lbs bow for under 20€ 😱.
dont you just love that look he gives after each shot he takes?
You have such a satisfied look after you shoot it.
The "Like a Boss" -Face after every Shot is priceless
This would be a product I would gladly buy from you, Joerg.
awesome job I've always wanted to get into archery. thank you very much
That would make a great hunter, stalker bow. Very compact and easy to manouver through thick brush.A camo paint job,and off we go.Nice toy Joerg !!
your face after every shot are amazing XD best channel ever!!!!!!!!!!
Your special bow is so good!
what a beast bow that is, great job!
Wenn Dir meine Videos nicht gefallen, schau Dir halt weiter Deine Spielchenvideos an. Hier bist Du jedenfalls unerwünscht. Thanks and bye bye.
The 'string stoppers' are tiny slingshots! nice touch ;)
This dude is awesome. My new hero
That's a hell of an idea. I was thinking about getting a bow, but this is a good way to start out.
Das aller geilste an dir ist ,wie du immer guckst, wenn du irgendetwas zerschossen hast xDD echt cool!!!
Awesome. I'm going to make one, tomorrow. Thanks, Joerg!
your so good at making weapons

he looks angrily awesome after every shot
This is very interesting. I'm very courious about a "chrono" shot... and about the energy. Thanks for sharing, sir.
love how this dude turns to look at the camera all serious and stuff after every time he shoots
I'm not angry - just determined.
This Man Is A Legend!!!
That pineapple never stood a chance! (I always hate it when you just wound them, and then have to track them through the woods.) Seriously though, pretty awesome toys you're making! I'm a fan!
