120 lb: Homemade Slingbow with Speargun Rubber (incl. How To)

Ғылым және технология

The Slingshot Channel showed several slingbows, but this time, two things are different. First, the new design really looks and shoots like a recurve bow. The string is replaced by rubber (different thicknesses).
Also, the new slingbow allows very quick band changes. The presented range goes from children strength (25 lb) all the way up into the English warbow league (120 lb).
Homemade arrows are also presented.
This video includes some instructions!
A "The Slingshot Channel" production.

He goes into Slayer mode whenever he fires a slingshot and for just a moment, we see the Beast-Sprave--a merciless, slingshot-slinging, arrow-slammin', whittle-a-bazooka-out-of-wood-and-shoot-through-a-car-door machine of a man. He'll turn to the camera and he's all full of murder. Then, he goes back to regular Joerg Sprave and he starts smiling and laughing. I've noticed this in several of his videos. Anyone else?

Dear Joerg! Thank you so very much for this design! It helps me to come back in the live as an instrument of physiotherapy. Summer 2010 I've got a intracranial hemorrhage and my left side was comlete out of function. After 1 year, I was so reconstructed, that I began with shooting again first with revolver, than I try a bow but all bows where to strong for me. So I've build this slingbow and began with very soft theraband and increase it from one month to the other. So I was in the 2nd rehabilitation able to shot with a soft sporting bow.

I like how deadly serious you are in this video Joerg. Because unlike your other creations, this is a straight up utility weapon you've made. Sure, archery is fun, but it's important to stress that while fun, it is not a toy.

OK, to all the ppl who KEEP On asking where to buy the rubber tubes etc, or even therabands, and maybe even buy a book....you go to a web search engine, some of them include Yahoo, Google etc. In the box where u type to search for things, type Spearfishing gun rubber bands, and amazingly, the search engine "SEARCHES" the internet and finds places that sell them. There now you all Know how the internet works, go forth and multiply. ;-)
