The slingshot video was amazing! The precision, power, and speed of the shots were impressive. The person in the video is clearly skilled and experienced with slingshots. I was on the edge of my seat watching each shot hit its target with force and accuracy. It's a great example of slingshots as a serious weapon and tool for hunting and sport. Can't wait for more videos like this!

It's good, but it's a bit unsafe, because the arrow head is behind the hand and it's not stable, it can come down and hit the hand due to the shooter's carelessness.

you are correct. I made one but the tip was duel wood so luckily it didn't do much damage to my hand, still hurt. I suggest making them with rubber tips, getting good at it, then use the real deal with hand protection on.

pretty cool, i would put pins through the arrow heads and shaft since there is constant pressure pulling them apart when you launch. That 5 min epoxy only lasts so long in my experience.

The only thing that makes me uneasy about those is the chance of that dart getting caught in the bands and coming back at my face like those water balloon launchers. Really good idea if that's not an issue, though.

if the slingshot is made correctly, its impossible for that to happen. The real risk is not lining up your aim, and the dart shoots your hand.

Hi! Good film, although you would increase the power by reducing the mass of the arrows, making the rays thinner, which should also be truncated at the point where the tips are placed. Maybe also change the arrangement of the ailerons of the arrows to a horizontal one - in relation to the plane formed by tight rubbers. The ailerons will come out smoother when shooting without hitting the ring.

Here's a tip: soak your thread you use for wrapping the bolt head in thinned wood glue, so it tightens and dries tighter.

You are correct!.. When I was 10 yrs old, I shoot the same designed arrow with same slingshot launcher- immediately, I proceed to my target, a tree trunk, around 30 mtrs away...I cant find the suppose dart, imbedded in the bark of the same tree!.. So I returned to my launching position, and I discovered the missing dart imbedded to the plywood wall of our terrace!... Thanks God!, the same dart didnt hit me in the abdomen area- when it made a sudden U- turn trajectory- due to entanglement with the launching hook!.. Lesson: 1) The hook launcher must be stainless wire ( to resist rusting), inverted triangle or oval in shape, the tip of the arrowhead must be longer than 7. mm from the inner space of the said triangular or oval shape launcher;.. 2) The arrow head part/ barbed for hooking on the said triang'r slingshot launcher- it must be very loose and not sharp, to avoid being stucked or trapped to the same triang'r shape wire launcher- upon release by the fingers!... 3) Parents must always (100%) inspect their childrens finished D.I.Y. toys- to avoid injuries, accidents, etc due to children defectively designed toys, gadgetries,hobbies, etc...

How about making a slingshot and then attaching it to the back of a tin can. Wind up some fishing line around the can. Use the slingshot to launch the fishing line out a long ways out in the water. Bring the line in by winding it around the can. Beats tossing the line out by hand.
