12 Signs You're Emotionally Stronger Than Most People
What is emotional strength? And what does it mean to be emotionally strong? Are you emotionally stronger than most people? Well, stick around, and find out whether you have highly developed emotional intelligence (EQ). If you relate to these signs, then you definitely possess emotional strength and, in fact, are emotionally stronger than most people!
It’s important to understand that being emotionally and mentally strong doesn’t mean you don’t have feelings. Emotionally strong people experience all kinds of emotions, not just the good ones. They’re not afraid of anger, sadness, or anxiety. They know how to work through these feelings without letting them become destructive or overwhelming. As a matter of fact, an emotionally strong person will actually use their difficult emotions as motivation for change.
If you enjoy learning about human nature and psychology and are interested in mental health and self development, then this video is for you. It highlights certain things emotionally strong people do as well as some things emotionally strong people don’t do. We also discuss how these traits can help you live a happier, more successful life.

Overcoming adversity, self-discipline, and the ability to stay focused will help you to stay grounded. That will give you the strength to follow what is important to you no matter the hype or what people say or do.

You know I've had idiots(Psyco chicks and dudes.) from the neighborhood hack and stalk me for year's. You how hard it was not to just go over there and beat the living Fxxx out of them. Since I was pretty much raised from the neighborhood(Chicagoland.) I couldn't because I would of caught a case. I was in the process of straightening up a old DUI from 20 years ago and dealing with surgeries and Disabilities. 😡 I have other ways. Cleaned up my act massively. Bought a new home. All by myself. I couldn't have done all that If I would have taken the bait. Psycho Italian chicks Psycho Irish chicks and dudes, Psycho punks and their buddies with their huge egos and BS. I'm the type of guy who can look at someone walking down the Street and tell you if they are up to no good. No doubt.

@@mountainhigh4134 I appreciate the kind words. The thing is these Mfers are scared 😱 of their own shadows(psychological Shadow) like little children. Doing the same stupid crap 💩on the same bar stool for the last 30 years. I've read much on Jung. He stated the shadow is the unknown dark side of the personality. According to Jung, the shadow, in being instinctive and irrational, is prone to psychological projection, in which perceived personal inferiority is recognized as a perceived moral deficiency in someone else. They are stuck on stupid. I've conquered my demons 👹.
Letting go of stuff is a great sign of it too
You NEVER know how STRONG you are ,Until BEING STRONG Is the only choice you HAVE.......
People often underrate how strong they are emotionally. But the truth is that almost all of us are stronger than we think. Come to think of it, not everyone will survive the things you have been through. Come on, give yourself a tap on the back. You are doing well!
Number 12 is the common empathic trait, and I'm proud I have it.
Knowing when to get help with serious issues and traumas.
Controlling emotions is one of the thins I really need to improve on. With this video, I realized that I am not emotionally stronger than most people; however, I hope that I go back to these signs and successfully say that I became a better and emotionally stable individual
If I was to answer these questions in my teens or early 20’s I would have been a complete failure. As a person that’s lived and learnt many lessons as I move along in my old age I’ve become a emotionally strong person and the 12 signs has only confirmed it. Thank goodness :)

@Art Guy what is your advice to someone who is going through utter adversity? Thanks

@@irmaiz133 there’s no easy answer unfortunately. I went through a period where I didn’t belong and was alway trying to portray someone I’m not. One of the best things I ever did was to stop worrying about what others think. I just started being me and what you see is what you get. Forgiving was also key to moving on. I was angry for the longest time. I just got tired of being angry truth be told and no one likes angry people. I learnt to be positive and optimistic and looked at the good things in my life. There weren’t many at the beginning but as I changed I noticed people changed around. I kinder gentler person is easier to be with it seems:) It’s sound so simple but it’s not. Changing my train of thought made living worthwhile. I wish you all the best and take every stumble, every fall as a lesson. As an older person one thing I would suggest is finding a counsellor to talk to. A neutral ear is so helpful. All the best and take care.

@Stew Art thanks. Yes, every fall and stumble are lessons indeed. Anger is never good but we should be calmer, kinder and gentle because not of what others think but it's good for our sanity. Look at the weather, even God has anger and He is the Kindest Being and our every Breath is from God I deeply appreciate your advice. I have been to a not-so-great counselor eh discussed my issues with my family members so after that I have become more spiritual but is is difficult to decipher what is the next best step. Be safe and in peace always. :))

One percent better each day . Thanks Brainy 🧠 Dose
I've got 10 out of the 12 and can work on the other two. My family calls me the rock of Gibraltar. Once again brainy dose you hit it out of the park.
Confirming & reaffirming list! Tbh, I could stand a bit more growth in this area, lol! Have a blessed day, everyone!👍🤟😎
List check completely...this video explained exactly what I am I never knew I am emotionally strong
I think this may come with wisdom…..living a certain amount of years, you should grow and evolve
Conflict is a defense. Learn how to defend yourself. Learn how to say no.

I appreciate your presentations. Thank you ! Please, could you make a video about : "how to manage stress"?
True, but at the same time take a person with all these traits and put them in the mind of someone with complex ptsd for a few months and you'll see how emotionally strong they are.

@Blackjack Professional I don't talk about the origins anymore. Long term trauma, dissociation, can't concentrate for more than few seconds, repetitious thoughts every few seconds all day for several months at a time.
This is want practice everyday life to in improve 😜. Is not easy but I keep pushing.
I love time by myself
I guess I am emotionally strong now and still cannot control my cries yet 😁 ❤️☀️🌙
Take a break from relationships and get back to who you are and what you want to be.
Intimacy should lead to something lasting so much care should go into this .
I'm not afraid to be alone.😁👍.
Other people s negative opinions of me don’t matter especially when their not right . I have no problem being happy for other people I don’t need to be mean to other people to feel good about myself . Yes some people are so married to their phones it makes me laugh I prefer face to face conversations. Yes to putting yourself first . I’ve always put others first it got me no ware . I let go of toxic people it’s a liberating feeling .
Big mental health tip: always take things for what they are, & not what you want them to be. 2: expect anything from anybody, so you won’t be surprised & blindsided when a mf moves bogus!
Well done -very good
Just breathe and let go of it and breathe again!!!
Awesome video 💙💙👍👍
Everyone can accomplish with learned coping skills. Learned in high school. Thats a key.
Social media is designed to be addictive (smart phones themselves are, too). I don't think not being addicted to something is a sign of emotional strength, but rather it indicates that you are probably just wise enough to establish rules to prevent addiction, which may involve actually rejecting these things entirely. Tech giants like Steve Jobs severely limit or entirely forbid screen time for their children. Emotional strength isn't the issue, but mental health is.
They have good sense of fortitude and resilience.
If I start to think 🤔 of something that bothers me . I picture a rain drop hitting the ground . Cant put the rain drop back together so move on .
Success is a matter of knowing about your self being and your gifts
My wife of 7 years can’t even read me some times. I guess I naturally look mad or upset cause people have been asking my whole life what’s wrong and if I’m ok, when I’m actually in a great mood. Every time I ask for more details, I hear “idk you just look mad”
I have reasons to belive that we are are a very strong but small comunity of 2.5K people that like thist type of content.
Great 👍
One flew over it!

I fight and drink with my demons. Impressed with my strength and fortitude, they fight for me instead of against me. We call this earning one's set of brass balls. I've earned mine. Have you earned yours?
thanks
I DON'T HAVE SOME OF THESE POINTS. SO MAYBE IAM HALF EMOTIONALLY STRONG
Social media cant get in the way of my chores
Fun fact- the term emotional intelligence was created by a journalist with no psychology experience
cool video
People can motivate you to loose bad habits. Stick to their leadership and learn. No matter who, even your wise grandmother or friend.
nice❤️💯
I have so many of these traits, I'm beginning to think Brainy Dose is just kissing my ass. Though I definitely resent UNEARNED success; I keep seeing barely talented people thriving and gaining wealth when they don't seem to deserve it. Or even worse, they squander it on frivolous and vain pursuits. But the rest is me to a T. The one about people always seeking me out for advice and council really hit home. The weird thing is some of them are even successful and established, so you would think they wouldn't ask someone with no established resumé or career. I would make a great life coach.
TRUE WARRIOR'S ARE STRONG .. RESILIENT..... NOT AFRAID OF INTIMACY
We should aim for the last word
Its good 2 be strong in Network. Who set up it?
I so happy
I got 11/12..
I have been into learning about EI for around 10 years because people hated and had it out for me. I think this video was created for perfect barbie dolls in perfectly crafted lifestyles with unconditional silver spoons and bulletproof white picket fences... ...so presumptious it's light years away from realistic.

Oh my god
If you give up things that you are devoted to just because the world is telling you that you are wrong, you will live a poor life.
This is bullshit Everyone has a break down I dont care how strong u are emotionally we do things different but we are HUMAN not robots I think this is a red flag when someone dont show you how they get stressed, happy, anything trust me I learned the hard way. My ex partner had this trait he was quiet and show no emotions. He definitely didn't talk about things trust me never again he taught me how to walk away from people like this thank God

I find it odd that one of the strengths is to not spend so much time on social media, but 90% of your videos are in the presence of phones or computers.
Uh, if you listed them below I'd a stayed, but since no, I'm out of here.
