12 Signs You're Emotionally Stronger Than Most People

What is emotional strength? And what does it mean to be emotionally strong? Are you emotionally stronger than most people? Well, stick around, and find out whether you have highly developed emotional intelligence (EQ). If you relate to these signs, then you definitely possess emotional strength and, in fact, are emotionally stronger than most people!
It’s important to understand that being emotionally and mentally strong doesn’t mean you don’t have feelings. Emotionally strong people experience all kinds of emotions, not just the good ones. They’re not afraid of anger, sadness, or anxiety. They know how to work through these feelings without letting them become destructive or overwhelming. As a matter of fact, an emotionally strong person will actually use their difficult emotions as motivation for change.
If you enjoy learning about human nature and psychology and are interested in mental health and self development, then this video is for you. It highlights certain things emotionally strong people do as well as some things emotionally strong people don’t do. We also discuss how these traits can help you live a happier, more successful life.

Overcoming adversity, self-discipline, and the ability to stay focused will help you to stay grounded. That will give you the strength to follow what is important to you no matter the hype or what people say or do.

You know I've had idiots(Psyco chicks and dudes.) from the neighborhood hack and stalk me for year's. You how hard it was not to just go over there and beat the living Fxxx out of them. Since I was pretty much raised from the neighborhood(Chicagoland.) I couldn't because I would of caught a case. I was in the process of straightening up a old DUI from 20 years ago and dealing with surgeries and Disabilities. 😡 I have other ways. Cleaned up my act massively. Bought a new home. All by myself. I couldn't have done all that If I would have taken the bait. Psycho Italian chicks Psycho Irish chicks and dudes, Psycho punks and their buddies with their huge egos and BS. I'm the type of guy who can look at someone walking down the Street and tell you if they are up to no good. No doubt.

@@mountainhigh4134 I appreciate the kind words. The thing is these Mfers are scared 😱 of their own shadows(psychological Shadow) like little children. Doing the same stupid crap 💩on the same bar stool for the last 30 years. I've read much on Jung. He stated the shadow is the unknown dark side of the personality. According to Jung, the shadow, in being instinctive and irrational, is prone to psychological projection, in which perceived personal inferiority is recognized as a perceived moral deficiency in someone else. They are stuck on stupid. I've conquered my demons 👹.

  • @stewart5120

@@irmaiz133 there’s no easy answer unfortunately. I went through a period where I didn’t belong and was alway trying to portray someone I’m not. One of the best things I ever did was to stop worrying about what others think. I just started being me and what you see is what you get. Forgiving was also key to moving on. I was angry for the longest time. I just got tired of being angry truth be told and no one likes angry people. I learnt to be positive and optimistic and looked at the good things in my life. There weren’t many at the beginning but as I changed I noticed people changed around. I kinder gentler person is easier to be with it seems:) It’s sound so simple but it’s not. Changing my train of thought made living worthwhile. I wish you all the best and take every stumble, every fall as a lesson. As an older person one thing I would suggest is finding a counsellor to talk to. A neutral ear is so helpful. All the best and take care.

  • @irmaiz133

@Stew Art thanks. Yes, every fall and stumble are lessons indeed. Anger is never good but we should be calmer, kinder and gentle because not of what others think but it's good for our sanity. Look at the weather, even God has anger and He is the Kindest Being and our every Breath is from God I deeply appreciate your advice. I have been to a not-so-great counselor eh discussed my issues with my family members so after that I have become more spiritual but is is difficult to decipher what is the next best step. Be safe and in peace always. :))

Social media is designed to be addictive (smart phones themselves are, too). I don't think not being addicted to something is a sign of emotional strength, but rather it indicates that you are probably just wise enough to establish rules to prevent addiction, which may involve actually rejecting these things entirely. Tech giants like Steve Jobs severely limit or entirely forbid screen time for their children. Emotional strength isn't the issue, but mental health is.

I have so many of these traits, I'm beginning to think Brainy Dose is just kissing my ass. Though I definitely resent UNEARNED success; I keep seeing barely talented people thriving and gaining wealth when they don't seem to deserve it. Or even worse, they squander it on frivolous and vain pursuits. But the rest is me to a T. The one about people always seeking me out for advice and council really hit home. The weird thing is some of them are even successful and established, so you would think they wouldn't ask someone with no established resumé or career. I would make a great life coach.
