Here are Dr Berg tips to help you burn fat fast! 1. Consume a moderate amount of high-quality animal protein. Also, keep your carbs below 50 grams each day. Your body’s metabolic switch that allows you to tap into fat-burning is regulated by carb consumption. 2. Make your carbohydrates leafy greens. You don’t have to worry about counting your carbs from vegetables. They also provide fiber, which is important for the health of your good microbes. 3. Don’t eat unless you’re hungry. Don't get into the habit of eating according to the clock. Avoid eating just because everyone else is eating. 4. Try exercise snacks. Take advantage of various opportunities during the day to get more exercise. Take breaks during computer work and go for a walk. 5. Avoid grains. Avoid all grains, even those that are gluten-free. Consuming fiber with an inflamed gut feeds pathogens. Glutamine found in meat and cabbage helps heal the gut. 6. No junk food in the house. Don't tempt yourself! If there’s junk food in the house, you’ll probably eat it. 7. Avoid locations where you will be tempted. Restaurants and social events can be sources of temptation. Avoid these places if necessary. 8. Avoid dead food. Food that has been ultra-processed and lasts forever is “dead”. This includes canned, boxed, and highly refined foods. 9. Try cold therapy. Cold showers, cold immersions, and more outside time during the winter can increase fat-burning. 10. Try adaptogens to help reduce stress. Adaptogens like ashwagandha, vitamin B1, and vitamin D can help to reduce stress levels to speed up fat-burning. 11. Avoid glyphosate. Glyphosate acts as an antibiotic in the body and can negatively affect your microbes. Glyphosate is high in cereals, corn, soy, canola, wheat products, and foods that aren’t organic. 12. Consume apple cider vinegar. Apple cider vinegar (ACV) helps support weight loss, stabilize blood sugar, and reduce insulin resistance. Thank you Dr Berg! 😺👍

In 2021 I weighed 247 lbs. I started keto using Dr Eric Bergs model and lost 50 lbs in 60 days without exercise. On day 60 I started hitting the gym and in the best shape of my life. I bench 355lbs and placed 74 in a triathlon filled with triathletes I beat out and qualified for nationals this year in Atlantic City. Life in the Word and Dr Eric Berg!

@@SparkTheGenius Heck yeah man. I do the OMAD. One meal per day but some days I do eat lunch which is carb free and usually a rotisserie chicken from sprouts which is roughly 120 grams of protein. I drink water throughout the day. But I dropped all that weight on strictly one meal per day. I eat for four hours and romanticize it. I first start with 5 eggs, that’s the perfect protein profile you can ever get. Then I would eat broccoli or Brussel sprouts (organic) and chop up bacon (nitrate and sugar free 100% humane vegetarian) and sprinkle pepper, pink Himalayan salt, paprika and fresh Parmesan cheese (organic). My final meal is typically my dessert which is a grassfed ribeye or grassfed ground beef and make large taco bowls out of it and you can put in 100% humane 4505 Chicharrones (classic chili and salt) and get the rest of your calories, protein and in the calories is vitamin soluble fat. I make my own almond milk using 1/3 of roasted almonds, macadamia, and cashews and pour natural spring water in a large bowl, put in brown Erythritol with half teaspoon of pure vanilla bean, teaspoon of cinnamon and one can of organic light coconut milk from sprouts, leave it in fridge overnight and the next day for desert you put some ice in your mixer and enjoy a legit milkshake. Extra bonus for putting 20grams of grassfed unsweetened collagen in it. You can live off this recipe and bounce around with curry chicken thigh, organic bone broth, peppered salmon, omelets etc. Stay away from all processed foods, all fruits, all sugars, all alcohol, cheese is ok but be careful what kind (worth the price to buy European cheese. Live off Kerry Gold grassfed butter (use it on everything you can) and buy organic fresh squeezed lemon juice to help you spike most meals with a twist and once in a while lemon water (not too much it’s acidic and takes away enamel. Just here and there for a drink like wine in a glass) That’s a good start right here. Let me know if you are gonna give it a shot and I will send you what supplements to take. Electrolytes will be your most important to start. The rest you can get from your foods if done right, or when you want to level up after you shed some worthwhile weight, then stack on all natural products that can accelerate fat loss.

With lots of starts and stops, lots of other self-help stuff, meditation, gentle exercises (I have tons of painful medical issues) re-training my brain, I know I got this. This dude has helped me tremendously in my journey. I struggle with emotional eating from my job as a first responder. I also have a teenage son still at home and the junk food is insane around my kitchen. I know it’s ultimately my decision that leads me down that road, but man…😳🤙. I’ve been IF since 2020 off and on and it’s a hard lifestyle to maintain when you’re around family who don’t believe in it. One thing is certain, I feel great once I get the junk out of my system. I do have my moments of almost caving, because we are so addicted to the stuff they put in our foods. I recently picked it back up again to lose the weight I’ve put on over the past year. Keep it up Doc, you’re awesome.

Fellow first responder here, I totally relate to the emotional eating. And yet, in the long run it only makes us feel worse. And eating well, though requiring self discipline, very much pays off. I'm going to aim for a cheat meal a week and see how that goes. All the best with your health John.

For #4, "Exercise Snacks"; when I am in my company office, I make it a point, every hour, to walk out of my office and walk from my end of the building to the other end and back. I get in anywhere from 350 to 400 steps, each circuit. If I have time, I go up the stairs to the next floor and walk the perimeter of that floor's office space. When working at honme, my office is in the basement corner. As often as I can, I get up, walk up the stairs, and around the first floor, and back down. At the office, the employee cafeteria is in the basement level. Around mid-day, I walk down to the cafeteria and get myself a salad for lunch. I stopped eating the greasy food from the grill. When I did, I would feel sluggish the remainder of the day. I feel better off the salads.

00:13 🍖 Prioritize animal proteins in moderate amounts to support fat burning. Keep carbs under 50 grams to trigger metabolic switch to burn fat. 01:06 🔄 Focus on addressing insulin resistance, caused by factors like excessive carbs, frequent eating, stress, and inflammation. Opt for leafy greens as a carbohydrate source. 02:03 🚫 Don't eat unless hungry to encourage the body to tap into fat stores. Avoid constant snacking and let your body ride the wave of reduced carb intake. 02:41 🏃‍♂ Incorporate "exercise snacks" throughout the day, taking short breaks for physical activity to reduce stress and aid in better sleep. 03:22 🌾 Eliminate all grains, not just gluten-free, as they can lead to inflammation, leaky gut, and even autoimmune issues. Prioritize glutamine-rich foods like meat and cabbage. 04:42 🛑 Keep junk food out of the house to avoid temptation and unnecessary snacking. Create a policy to maintain a healthy environment. 05:10 🚷 Avoid locations that tempt with junk food, such as restaurants or social events, to stay on track with your healthy eating habits. 05:39 🍱 Steer clear of dead, ultra-processed foods with no shelf life. Opt for fresh, whole foods for better health and weight management. 06:04 ❄ Try cold therapy to activate brown fat, burn calories, and boost metabolism. Cold showers, immersions, or spending time outdoors in the cold can be beneficial. 06:47 🌿 Consider adaptogens like ashwagandha, B1, and Vitamin D to reduce stress and support overall well-being. 07:14 🚫 Avoid glyphosate found in GMO foods, especially in cereals, corn, soy, canola, and non-organic products. Glyphosate can impact gut microbes, leading to inflammation and weight gain. 07:54 🍎 Incorporate apple cider vinegar to indirectly aid weight loss by improving blood sugars and addressing insulin resistance.

On January 25, 2024, I weighed myself for the first time in about 4 years. I couldn't believe how much weight I'd gained. Since my college days, I've weighed between 170-177 (I'm 6' tall). On 1/25 I topped out at a disgusting 201 lbs.!; the most I've ever weighed. Today is Mar 3 and I weighed 174.6 this morning. 26.4 lbs. lost in 38 days. The weight loss is due to eating right, no sugar/dairy and some moderate exercise. My goal was to get back to 175. Dr. Berg has good advice.

I lost thirty-five pounds in two months eating nothing but two bowls per day of beef stew. The stew cut out all sugary vegetables and replaced it with broccoli, cauliflower, red cabbage, kale and stuff like that. It goes down easy cooked in Rotel and salsa. Mmm, mmm, good 😋

I lost more than 12 kg since august last year, following Dr. Bergs advice. No alcohol, next to no sweets and snacks (protein bars ok!), proteins and fat and lots of sports. Running is so much fun after losing a couple kilograms! Also hitting the gym now. It really works! Use an app to keep up with food intake and learn to understand how you eat, because this will orevent you from yo-yo effects

Hi Dr Berg, your videos have really helped me in multiple ways including fat loss. I have a question. In some other video (not yours) I got to know that its important to up the content of omega 3 in our diets as compared to omega 6 for fat loss. How true it is? Could you please shed some light on this like what should be the ratio of omega 3 and 6? What difference does that make?

Dr you talk about it all the time, and SERIOUSLY the best well for me and the so many i know and talked to in groups, meet in person, etc etc Go Keto, drop sugars (Processed foods) and just eat what G-d intended, being basic natural meats and vegetables/fruits..... The speed at which the body burns fast and the blocking of over eating the body does is insane.... There are times i don't eat for 3 or 4 days, and its becuase i seroiusly forgot or i was in my office working to the point i forgot about time..and starving isn't something that ever comes up.. Granted on those times i do that, i do eat a bit more, but point and case....fast as hell for us here, Keto hands down

I love your video and knowledge you share. Can’t thank you enough… however as a Korean descent where our traditional food pertains to rice and noodles.. we for the most part were healthy and not obese. It wasn’t until many of the food became westernized and fusion came into place that obesity and health issue came into the play. Meat, cheese and etc… is grain really that bad??

I'm a type 1 diabetic who does 1 hour of pilates and 200 push-ups a day. I eat whipping cream, coffee, eggs, sausage and pepperettes. I take vitamin D, C, iodine, cordyceps, lions mane and the stamens 7. I usually eat once or twice a day and check my blood sugar every 2-3 hours. Blood sugar is highest in the morning and actually raises once I start working out. Breakfast is the least important meal of the day. Thanks Dr. Berg!!
