I got the Rtx 4060 a week ago, the non "ti" version. Personally, i absolutely love it. My first gaming PC too. Got a PS5. Haven't touched the PS5 since😂. The Rtx 4060 lacks memory, maybe, but it's a great card. This one, i would buy in a heartbeat, but the price difference was just too big here where i live. Great video brother.

Nice! I'm happy that you are having a good time with your first PC. I don't have anything against consoles but PC is so much more versatile in terms of what you can do with it. What resolution monitor are you using? 1080p?

@theivadim So true brother. I'm absolutely loving the switch over to pc gaming. And you are 100% correct, you can do so much more with a PC. I'm having a blast 😀. Unfortunately, still a 1080p 140hz monitor. That's the next upgrade, in a month or so. I've read so much about the RTX 4060, and decided that it fits my budget. I'm glad i got it. It's definitely a great 1080p gaming card.

Awesome! Monitor upgrade is a good idea. 1440p monitors are affordable nowadays. And nothing can compare to 4K monitor experience. Even if you have to use DLSS to get your GPU to run games on a 4K screen, it's worth it. I prefer 4K + DLSS Performance or Ultra Performance to native 1080p 27 inch. I've only tried making the RTX 4060 work paired with a 4K monitor in one game so far but I was well impressed with the experience I got - kzread.info/dash/bejne/mGlqt9Omeszeg5M.htmlsi=Yqf5ZVKTKPEkAXYl&t=620

@theivadim I just watched your video on the 4k monitor paired with the RTX 4060, wow! That's awesome to know that this card can handle, with the help of frame generator, a good enough experience on a 4k monitor. Will definitely be getting that!!! Cheers for the videos!

You *tempt* me, sir! *Thank you* for taking the time to make & upload this video! 🙏🏼👍🏼🙂 I still think the 4060's 128-bit memory bus is nasty, though. If it had at least a 192-bit memory bus (like the RTX 3060 ti, which I currently use), I'm thinking it would not have been necessary to use DLSS to achieve those same results. Still, the 4060 ti 16GB did a better job than I thought it capable of on those games, at 1080p. Thanks again! 😁

Thanks!☺️ I think you're better off holding on to that 3060 Ti for a while. There is still hope that we'll see some better GPUs as part of the next generation.

I have an RTX 4060 8GB (non ti) on my secondary computer. Thus far I think it works well for 1440p. Using upscaling and stuff. Yes, after getting a 1440p 165Hz FreeSync monitor on my primary computer I just had to have one more for my secondary setup. Couldn't stand 1080p 60Hz anymore after tasting these new 1440p screens :P Done some undervolting aswell so I stay under 100 Watts at full load and rarely goes over 72 Celcius at full load. Nice little card. No problem staying under 8GB Vram usage. Just turning down a few settings. No need to run everything at ultra.

I'd also go for 1440p even with the RTX 4060. DLSS resolution upscaling makes it a viable option. I prefer to stay away from 1080p as well for similar reasons. I tasted the good stuff and it's difficult to go back. And decent 1440p monitors are affordable now.

Nice video i like to see how these cards perform with different games. I have bought the RTX 4070 ti Super, you might remember me, mine set on fire, no problem the dealer gave me a new one. The replacement one seems to behaving itself. I have a AOC 27" G3X which is 4k, i am playing Ghost Of Tsushima thanks to watching you play it, it looks amazing at 4k. I am using the settings the game set up I must try changing things sometime, I am in the 70's fps so happy with that. Chris

Looks nice to me. The only thing I'd recommend changing is the DDR5 memory. DDR5-6000 CL30 is pretty affordable and will do a better job in those memory-sensitive tasks. Also, if you're building a gaming PC then you may want to consider going for an AMD CPU like the Ryzen 7 7800X3D. AMD will support the current AM5 platform until 2027+. That opens up massive CPU upgrade opportunities in the future without the need to buy another motherboard.
