$950 = € 850, meanwhile it cost €1399 = $ 1500 here in The Netherlands. Thats almost double the price. . It's INSANE 😮

And add the fact that no matter how much they talk about burn-in protection and warranty, in the end you might not see any burn-in before 3 years but it will happen if you use it like an ordinary monitor with much static on the picture. So therefor I am not comfortable of using one for my usage that is 8+ hours of work + gaming. I also can't live without 2 screens, how will it feel having 1 OLED + 1 IPS side-by-side? Or should I go for 2 OLED's when 1 will be used for only web browsing and youtube? Nah I think I wait :P

I was waiting for this screen or the Asus (or Gigabyte, LG, or Samsung) to become available but they still aren't unless you get super lucky. So finally, I just went with the Alienware and I couldn't be happier. It's absolutely incredible and I love the curve! Absolutely zero regrets. Just get the Alienware instead of waiting for one of these flat screens that isn't actually in stock. Dell deserve the credit and the business for actually producing enough of the screen to keep up with demand.

This has always been the problems with the this so called " PC monitors " ...the price !! I would rather get a LG TV C2/C3 42" OLED that cost 600-800 usd than this monitors...

I also thought this monitor does NOT support Dolby VIsion, compared to the Asus and Alienware that do, after a firmware update for ALienware.

yeah I hear ya, but now days they need to innovate more, there's been 4k monitors for some time now. At least the new LG has dual resolution/refresh mode, quality speakers in the screen etc... More need to work on improving the speaker quality and systems, add more USB - Type C or multiple USB 4 ports to them, KVM Switches, New Display Port Standard, 2.5GIG Ethernet connections...so much more could be done for the money being asked.

I would definitely consider this and save money. Do you really need BFI for PC gaming? Just use VRR. As far as I know you can't use BFI at the same time with VRR or am I wrong? And DP 2.1 sure that is nice. But wholly not needed since the monitor is limited to 240Hz and more than enough for me. Using DSC to achieve the 240Hz is not noticeable anyway.

Everything is a price strategy. I would rather see features that are not related to the nature of the screen removed and the price reasonable.

Might as well buy a tv for that price!

Can 7900XTX graphics card run this ok for games?

What webcams require USB 3.0? USB 2.0 is more than fine for me as the only reason why I would use USB 3.0 is for storage and 1Gbps/2.5Gbps Ethernet and nothing else.

In the uk this is priced the same as the much better asus model and both are never in stock anywhere

@@TitusSc It does, they sold it on Amazon and a few other stores in my country 2 months ago. It's been out of stock since then.

One thing to be aware of with MSI is their RMA process is strictly through the retailer. So if you need to claim on the warranty it has to be through the retailer. It's a right pain in the arse and has quite a few potential pitfalls. If you are going to buy MSI it;s probably best to buy from a retailer that you feel confident will exist for the warranty period and has good customer service.

This monitor is only for US !! for the rest of the world is not an option because the inflated price 40% more !!! The asus model is a much better option

In the real world it's like 20% more expensive than the Alienware. Seems MSI is financing the US pricing in other makrts.

I just stacked discounts and cashback to get the aw3225. 10 percent from the sale on their site brought it down to 1080. then another 20 percent cashback from rakuten and 4 percent cashback from my credit card. also 10 bucks from dell rewards. not counting taxes ended up bringing it all down to around 820 so around 900 total.

Thought my video was glitching at 7:25. Neat effect but I immediately thought there was something wrong - maybe use slightly longer cuts next time?

4:50 does the hdmi support full resolution max refresh rate and variable refresh rate with or without dsc?

No it uses DSC for higher than 4k 144hz 10bit.

Gone through 2 OLED gaming monitors. Got burn in on both of them. Less than 500 hrs on each. Never going back to OLED.

Its a KVM not a usb hub

Feel like I've been waiting for years for a decent 4k OLED that isn't gaming focused and still doesn't exist. Someone please make a 27" 4k OLED, even if it's 120hz. What's the point of 4k 240hz when most GPUs can't even max out a 2k 144hz monitor.

4090 hits well over 144hz in many games and 200fps in a lot of titles and going back to old titles you’re definitely hitting it! It’s worth it

Yes, it's been proven over and over and over again that those thumbnails drastically increase the amount of people who click to watch the video. That's why everyone who actually is using KZread as a job/income does it, because it works. Please get over it, this is such a 7 years ago complaint.

@@mattspeer01 Clearly you don't know anything about KZreadrs A/B thumbnail testing feature or the fact that it's possible for more than one type of thumbnail to be effective. As if your Suggested feed isn't a billion other shocked face thumbnails for videos that all have tons of views. Or as if many of the most successful content creators haven't said in interviews that those thumbnails work. No one's saying you have to LIKE those thumbnails, that's not the conversation we're having. But they work. If you want to ignore reality go right ahead bro 🤷

just remember, the reason this is cheaper than the others is this will NEVER get a firmware update. That is locked behind a paywall of more expensive monitors.
