Rear tires are on backwards, the hoons have arrows so easy to tell. Good video best of luck

Thanks! Yeah I was just gonna go with a steel spur gear but instead I got ahold of the entire center diff assembly

Hey ive been looking for motor mounts for a large motor on the normal slash 4x4 and haven't had any luck. Any recommendations? Im trying to squeeze in a hobbywing ezrun max8 combo, the motor is the 4278 2250kv one.

I’m not aware of any available for the high center of gravity chassis….only for the lcg chassis…

I’ve got the gearing to hit 100 right now….just not the aero

I hope this works. Only one downside, the CG is a bit higher with this setup. None the less, best of luck. Fingers crossed.

Yeah it’s significantly higher but it appears to be the only option available for for the lcg chassis so my options were limited

For the center drive shaft it's all about the tekno big bone driveshaft it's almost indestructible I only broke one because I was in a rush to install it and forgot the thread lock

Ya its a solid piece heres the part number I found TKR6855. I has taken 8s power. The one time I broke it was I forgot to locate the grub screws and I only actually broke a drive cup the drivshaft was still good

It will be faster if it was 2wd but its just a litle bit faster so its still good in awd

The 4x4 definitely should help with stability over the 2wd model

Love the vids and would never miss one but often times your very quiet and hard to hear. If I may suggest getting a mic and putting it closer so there is better voice audio that would be awesome! Keep up the great work!

Holy cow, so janky! Why do you make life so hard for you?! Just keep using 3650 or 3660 motors with a higher kv. Or even a drag racing 4.5 turn sensored system on 3s can do fast stuff. That’s what I’m using for my 2wd racing sct, and it manages to do 167 kph. Basically I use no connectors and 10 gauge wires throughout. You’ve gone the entire opposite of my setup, and it just doesn’t work in your car in my opinion

@@RCKnockout yeah, might have to raise the kv. It’s kind of cowboyesque to drill the drive shaft mount to install something that’s gonna be higher on the chassis. It’s gonna vibrate to hell for sure

If you can do better with the audio.... I can barely hear you and I'm very interested

Why not leave the original mount save some money and split the difference between your pinion and spur go up some on the pinion and go down some teeth on the spur .. you'll have the same outcome without drilling holes in an already weak chassis

I’d need the aftermarket mount to get high enough gearing to go 100mph….even if I were to gear all the way down on the spur gear it wouldn’t allow for a big enough pinion gear

Nope uspeshly because the stampede is so short it doesn't handle the speed as good as the slash

there is an big bore driveshaft that is better then stock on ebay its looking good though TKR6855 Big Bone Center Driveshaft & Outdrive Kit for Traxxas Slash 4x4 seach that on ebay
