1000hp Twin Turbo Modernized Trans-Am: Is This the Perfect F-Body for the Streets?
Автокөліктер мен көлік құралдары
Subtly not-so-subtle… this Trans-Am is just about the most perfect restomod build that we’ve ever seen. Big power, big tires, Twin Turbos, custom wheels… BUT it’s all made to look as factory+ as possible. This build from Jessie’s Performance really sets a bar for what a fully built street car should be… and we’re out here taking notes.

That 79 Trans-Am takes me back to when I was 16 in 1979, my father purchased one brand new 403 engine honeycomb rims with t-tops and AM FM 8-track in Smokie & the Bandit Style.💯💯👍👍✌
"I put the quietest exhaust on here that I could build" bless his heart he's just oozing humility. he even wanted the car to not be too loud 🥲

Yeah, some guys are that much talented and curious enough to achieve something like this incredible car starting from zero. Amazing how skilled men can discover themselves along the way, just making things and eventually reading books to learn what they need in order to do the job. Nowadays there's so many fools pretending to know how to make things by reading and not actually making real life experience.
Love it. My friend restored a black 79 6.6L Trans Am back in High School. I loved that car.

That T/A hooked up and homie started banging gears when he stomped on it. I swear they where about to hit warp speed. Holy freakin cow moly. Being humble is always the best way. Great build humble Texan guy that likes to shovel asphalt and spit fire out the back. Mean ass T/A.
My dad had one of these before. We saw one at a drive night or whatever it's called. It's where people drive their cool cars around. That was a good day.
Such a cool, clean, and detailed build.
He said you want to rip on it, lol, just starts banging gears.lol
I have an 81' Z28 that I've owned since 84' (mothballed for 25 years in great shape). If I had my ultimate wish, it would be to replicate what Jessie has done on this car to upgrade mine. His Trans Am is really a thing of beauty - performance and fit/finish. Very different approach than most restorations. I applaud you Jessie!
The ONLY thing I'd change on this car, is the front end, I'd love to see this with a 77 front end. Mostly because my mom had a 77 Trans Am, and I obviously grew up with Smokey and the Bandit, but yeah, this car is super beautiful, the guy is a real talent. We need more guys like him! :)
Freaken niceeeeeeee. Jesse threw down. I vision mine to be similar one day. Long live the Trans Am!!
This car is simple perfection with an awesome owner. The only problem I have is that the video didn’t last longer. It would have been great to see the chassis using a lift. Just an incredible build!

My father retired from Pontiac Motors in 1974 after breaking his back and neck. He was there during the DeLorean years. Every Pontiac employee with children brought home that screaming chicken vinyl home by the hundreds. Mom bought a 65 GTO when she was a secretary at Pontiac, returned it to the factory after a week because it had rained the entire week and she couldn't get it to go straight when the light turned green (Moms first husband hid aviation gas in his roll bar back in the 50's)... Seeing this car made this silly 51 year old f*#k cry a little, thanks! P.S. I was born at Pontiac Osteopathic Hospital in 1969. My uncle delivered me and shortly after did my dads vasectomy
