This is a few clips of the run at operational Speed supply s event with the 77 pontiac trans am featuring the entire pro Touring f-Body comp suspension, Viking Coil over dual adjustable crusaders and 315/30/18 yokahama tires . Yes, still on leaf springs.

70's Trans ams had absolutely no body roll, even stock. No other cars were like that, not a z-28, not a 2004 GTO, not a G8, not a mustang.

Not easy to compare. Every driver, car, different course and level of modification makes any direct comparison tough. I've beaten every generation and lost to every one sometimes in the same day. The day of the video I came in 3rd to a nationally competitive 4cyl turbo Camaro that was well prepped and a first gen that I struggle to keep up everywhere I go. All gens can be fast.
Need some more dirt on the track. The tires were actually getting some traction
