Lmao Hell man the S-10 got pushed pulled and uprighted through the entire course..now that's what I call profuctive management to accomplish a stated goal. All in all, just envious I couldn't bring my ol' C4 snowplow to play. Beep! Beep! Uhm Gowa, git'n it done with open diff powwa!

Not only that he did it with a 1000 dollar budget. I think some of the other rigs may have skirted the rules a bit. The bronco deserves new life and a Kevin built custom frame.

Impressed with Digs and Mooks broncos it was such a rust bucket and it made it! Thumbs up to Dig and Mook and shows Ford's are not that crapy! 😊😊 and the S10 all I have to say is WOW

S10 had me laughing the whole time. When you show up with that big of a POS, you send it -- every time. Bravo.

That S10 is one of the most amazing things I've ever seen.

The s10 diff cover delete added 26 horse. That bad boy performed👌🏽 And him running over that rock... like a rock🤦🏼‍♂️

Perfect example of why you don't go 4 wheeling by yourself. Always good to have friends to help each other out of difficult situations.

You don't need a compressor to seat the bead, just some brake clean and a lighter. Icelanders love there offroading and this is standard practice for reseating a tyre. ;)

Or put a rachet strap around the middle of the tire and it will squish the tire against the rim and you can inflate it with a hand pump

Loved this video, and was in awe as these vehicles made it over the obstacles. But I gotta say, that scene where S-10 guy’s truck was being winched back onto its wheels was cringeworthy. I kept yelling for the observers to stand clear of the danger zone. If that cable snapped, it woulda been bad news for a few people.

THAT S-10 IS LEGEND!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I like it. Two different points of view on the same events. Yours is more sedate and analytical and JY Digs is more bombastic and over the top. I think I like both of you recording and narrating the same event. Both views looked like fun, but it feels like the viewer that watches both gets a more well rounded view of the event.

Steve yes please. More videos of prepping your disco and then taking it off road. It did such a great job which proves that you should invest a little time and fix the engine and exhaust system! You could totally stay within your low budget too!

Landrovers and Range Rovers esp with manual tranny are exceptional off road. They need a few mods first. Taller springs, some decent shocks and some aggressive 33" tires. A rear locker too. Low range reduction is very low. There used to be a saying, "If you need to use 1st gear low range to climb, you don't really want to go there." This isn't for competition off road more 4x4 tracks in the forest in certain parts of the world that were in the old British Empire.

Well,that seems to be fun! Makes me remember my time in the army trucks. Super heavy duty Fifties steel monsters made in Switzerland over ten tons empty and without power steering! This is a good clip to show those luxury SUV owners that never ever leave the paved road to see what offroading is about.The new junk is not able to do things like that. Offoaders without diff locks are not the real deal. I remember our army Pinzgauer vehicles: Two or three axles: You could lock front and back axles and even lock them front to back. It is unbelievable what those things could do. Well some of those better cars in this challenge did surely cost much more than a thausand bucks.

24:40 its a good demonstration of why even in a low budget thing like this spending $200-500 on at least half a cage is a decent idea. you just gotta hunt harder for a better deal for a more sound vehicle to not need that $200-500 for engine/diff repairs, but its worth the saftey.

If I were the executive director of marketing and advertising for these manufacturers, I'd pay you guys to use this as evidence that former Chicago Cubs manager, Joe Maddon was right, "Do simple better" We need to go back to the way we used to build vehicles. Rock solid, and virtually indestructible. I think Ford's new Bronco is amazing and a huge step in the right direction.

I give it to the S10, that thing took a beating. I told my wife, this is what grown kids do when they hate there vehicle, Lol!

GREAT VIDEO!! Really enjoyed that. Land Rover seemed to do great. Also, the buggy with the tractor wheels/tires was cool. The little Suzuki also seemed to do really well. The Bronco.......well, it held up better than the S10. :-)

No lockers guys. As beat as the rigs are, at least weld up the diffs. Looked like a fun day of wheelin though guys. Liked your vid!

This is why S10s are unkillable with the TBI 4.3 V6... Legends!

A friend of mine had an early 90s ford ranger that we treated like that for several years. It was only 2wd but it would go a lot of places in 2nd gear, wide open.

Those little Suzuki's are only let down by an underpowered engine. Slap in a Rover V8 and an autobox and they'd be unstoppable, IMO.

Not really the first, the next Gen Discovery had a 5 cylinder Diesel, the Td5. And it wouldn't be the first 5 cylinder V8 Rover either, the first EFI versions with Lucas injection were notoriously unreliable at getting all 8 cylinders to play the same song...

@@gazzafloss lol I had one that'd run on LPG only for the longest time, petrol tank was rotted out, pump burned out, 6 injectors stuck & obviously the flapper was blown to bits through constant cold starting and backfiring on LPG... credit where it's due though, it ran OK on 2 pots given some fuel pressure!

@@Spennyman10 I have a lowered 2wd s10, and I've owned a lowered toyota, chevys frames seem to hit the ground faster than any other truck I've lowered. Guess Its an old s10 thing.

The rover seriously needs lockers,an engine refresh and a winch up front on all of them woulda been a good upgrade. Roll cages of some sort could be differance on broken neck or not,but of course kevin might have no were to weld to solid steel.but at least a capsule to keep you in might be better than nothing.well glad you all had a good time n laughs.happy no bodys were harmed in the carnage.sure youll go at it again.kudos,snookie pa.

Weld it put grease zerks in the bearing caps and axle tube ends near the wheels packed with grease it'll live along time
