    Honestly, the sting of Arquette winning the world title goes away when you realise that Arquette, by all accounts, is a really chill dude who at least donated the money he got to people like the Pillman Family and (I believe) Droz; honestly, it's better than Russo holding the title because at least Arquette is a good guy, all things considered.

    I remember seeing pictures of him in 2019 when came out a deathmatch against Nick Gage in which Arquette's neck got cut so deep he needed emergency surgery or else he would've bled out. Say what you want about the guy he loves the business.

    Fun fact: I was actually in the crowd the night MacGruber hosted Raw. When that thing with R-Truth, I legit thought that he was dead. I was a stupid child. Of course, the only thing worse on that show was where MacGruber was supposed to take on Vladimir Kozlov, before The Great Khali came out... dressed as MacGruber... and Khaluber took the place of MacGruber in the match... and then Khaluber and Kozlov had a bad match, that ended in a double count-out when Khaluber chased Kozlov up the ramp, and the cast of MacGruber *celebrated like they had won.* And then Khali got blown up as well. And it’s at times like this I question why I ever liked wrestling.

    Honestly I think the worst part about the Robocop show was the fact the ENTIRE SHOW was based around Robocop returning and he was around for less than 5 minutes of screen time. A show that ran for just over 3 hours spent less than 5 minutes on the main guest of the show. If he had showed up again after the last match to run the bad guys off again it would make sense. Maybe if he got punched, no sold it along with whoever punched him acting hurt(since they probably would hit metal) and shove a big guy down to show his strength, this wouldn't have been bad. He wouldn't even have to do anything more than what he did besides just shove somebody since he wouldn't have to react to the punch to his face. So much lost potential.

    God, seeing what they've done with Miz just makes me sad. He was ON FIRE from 2016 until like mid 2018. Nobody was topping him on the mic and he was and still is decent in the ring. Also considering that not only is he a former 2 time WWE Champion, but just had one of the best matches at Mania 37.

    The tie in with the Wrestler was going to be worst. Originally Rouke was going to face Jericho at Mania (I think as his character from the film but I don’t think that was confirmed). However Rouke let slip that it was happening before the angle started and his agent was worried that doing stuff with the WWE would cost him his chance at the Oscar so he was pulled and they did the whole legends thing instead.

    Seeing how Adam likes pop culture references as much as WWE, I'm surprised he didn't say Corvette twice at 7:31. And IMO the Netflix original Main Event is also bad. I know it didn't tie into any WWE storylines but it did feature WWE Superstars such as The Miz & Kofi Kingston going by their WWE names even though Keith Lee & Mia Yim had to use fake WWE names. I also felt like the "wrestler loses mask containing his gimmick powers, random person finds it and takes wrestler's place before returning/keeping mask after it gets ruined/lost & fixed/find" has been done before and if it somehow hasn't, let's hope WWE doesn't try anytime soon.

    Little late to this, but if I recall right, the reason Fake Kane beat Kane was because it was believed Glenn Jacobs wanted to take time off, or retire, and WWE wanted to keep using the Kane character, so they concocted this thing where Fake Kane was actually the REAL Kane from the 90's who Kane kidnapped and took his place.

  • @GPMM213

    @GPMM213

    I suppose it's more that Undertaker and Kane are supposed to be supernatural, so them coming back the next night, week, month, ect. after being dragged to hell, dying in a firey explosion, or being buried alive was always just "yeh, that checks outs." Whereas Miz and co. getting eaten by zombies (which I find hilariously cringey) and then coming back the next night feels more cheap and makes you wonder how the hell they managed to survive.
