have you ever met a Corgi?
Rottweiler, GSD, Doberman....just to name a few that should be on this list. I'd never recommend these dogs for first timers
You missed the top dog. Bull Terrier. Energy and extreme muscle. I’ve never seen a dog like the Bull Terrier
My first dog was a Border Collie and he was so easy to train it was unbelievable. He made me fall in love with the breed and although I've had other breeds since then I've never been without a Collie and I never will as long as I have strength in my legs. They're such an outstanding breed that they make it hard not to feel a little smug knowing that they're smarter than any dog you meet 😂. But you have to have the dedication to physically and mentally stimulate them with around 2 hours exercise per day, off leash. They're recall is amazing though. I'd definitely recommend them for a first time owner as long as you know that you can provide the type of exercise I mentioned.
Jack Russell Terriers (Parson Russell Terriers; Russell Terriers) can be challenging for those who are not prepared for a high-energy, super-smart and attention-demanding breed. Too, they are bred to hunt and cannot be trusted to stay in a non-fenced yard; for their own safety, they need to be on a lead.
Poodle....yes they're great dogs (I had one growing up), but they are ridiculously energetic and active. I would NOT recommend one for the inexperienced. Also, im talking about the standard...not too sure about the other size variations
