The blocks of time idea has been huge for me lately. One update to that for me was not to block time to work on a "todo" list, but to set intentions for what I wanted my energy to be put to during this time. That has taken some of the stress out of trying to power through a todo list. This has been peaceful for me because by setting those intentions I am able to feel productive because I am nudging along the projects I want to move forward in a way that doesn't feel like I'm beating myself up if I don't get it done. Thanks for another super thoughtful video!

Agreed. I'm similar to you. Sometimes blocking time doesn't work but I have to make it more dynamic to fit my mood. Being creative during the lockdown to create videos is a big focus for me and will be what I spend time blocking time to do.

Cook once eat twice. We cook on Mon-Wed-Fri and "eat twice"(leftovers) on Tues-Thurs-Sat. We wildcard it on Sunday. On cook days we use two crockpots and slow cook as much as possible so even on cook days we minimize food prep time.

What are some of your yearly goals? After the lockdown I've had to change mine to adapt to the creative projects that I wanted to work on like launching a YT channel with my fiancé. It took months to finally muster up the energy to do it. Email and social media took up way too much space + time...

I live alone in my apartment and it gives both advantages and disadvantages. Alone, I need to do all the cooking, cleaning, grocery, laundry, etc. But also alone, I am able to manage my activities based on the schedule I set for the day. Every morning, I prepare my healthy morning shake and food for the day for 1 hour, then proceed with my 1 hour Priming Meditation + Prayer Time + Planning Session. Then 1 hour exercise or dance to move my body and then self-care. I will work on my daily agendas only right after doijg all these. It gives me a sense of direction when I do all these. Thank you Brendon for your message today. ☺️

Hi Devin. Thank you for your reply. I lead a spiritual community and I have 15 heads reporting under me. And a total of 80-100 active volunteers during Quarantine. Now that we do things online and we are expanding our reach, Yes, I guide them and give directions and empower them. Because it’s a voluntary work, it’s a good challenge how to make them work with me for a common vision while they work on their job, business and family matters.

Since I spend much of my time before the computer I like to go to my window and look at the distance, look at the blue sky at trees, and green plants in general. It's good for your eyes. By looking at my outside surroundings it helps me take my mind off myself and gives me a broader perspective. I also take some deep breaths and look at the birds. After that I feel more peaceful and with a greater sense of well-being.

Hi Brandon. Thank you so much for always being there for all of us ...I absolutely love and enjoyed listening to your uplifting talks and learn.... today is there decided to leave a 1st time comment - I am in health and wellness, I myself have been dealing with them .. I wanna share some of my favourite combinations of refreshing TIME OUT techniques between work blocks - a matter of relaxing between hard focus ( I am a former athlete and a welness coach now ) meditation type are endless - 1. . just breathing deep for 3-7-11 times and maybe more special breath techniques .. 2. music listening. 3. Acknowledging resent 3-7 successes for the past week or month. 4. Count at least 3-5 blessing and take few minutes to acknowledge the feeling of gratitude 5. . just breathing and meditating ALL those could be combined with - while walking, stretching or playing tennis and singing along ! or simply Laying Down - Do it at beach, park, a balcony or just in bed or on the floor -- sometimes 15 minutes - it’s all you need to refresh mind and body ... and makes a huge difference ( many of us feel liek we can’t afford often a full hour to work out ). for more ideas and training feel free contact Lala Green on Facebook book or Instagram @AdventuteWithLala

It's time you have set aside for a very specific purpose. If you planned for an hour in the gym or a hour for a doctor's appointment or a couple for taking the car to the shop for fluid changes, those are examples of block time. Nothing except emergencies get in the way of your block time. If I can, I set aside an hour and a half around lunch time to take a nap or at least a 20 minute nap. It has to happen unless a real emergency interferes
