I love how pretty the Okra and yam dish looks. I never knew that okras have little hairs! I like the Chikuzenni best. I found an Osechi cookbook and have made a few recipes from it. They are complicated and beautiful. Your carrot flowers are so pretty. 🌸 The sesame seed grinder you have is so cute! I didn't know those were real! I usually pound mine. Thank you for making this video! 💜 You are so amazing.

Hello :) I made the sweet and sour dish sometimes. I really like it. It is the easiest to make in western countries like Germany because all the ingredients are easy to get here in local supermarkets. Stuff like Yam or Okura is not that easy to find (only in asian super stores in big cities for a comparable high price!). I will also try the eggplant and the punpkin for sure! Thank you for the recipies どうもありがとう :) Best from Germany

Such beautifully crafted recipes...I love Japanese cuisine because of the philosophy which is woven into the preparation of each dish. Every ingredient has a story and its place within the whole of the dish is integral to its completion. Aesthetically each meal is art for the eyes and spirit; it is nourishment on every level. Simplicity and understated gastronomic elegance in every dish lovingly prepared. Thank you for welcoming us into the world of Japanese cuisine. It is a world unlike any other.

Hello from the United States! I just came across your channel and I love it. Great recipes and instructions. I'm new to Japanese food and cooking. I have a few questions. 1. What type of cooking oil do you use? Vegetable, olive etc. 2. Do you use cooking sake or drinking sake? I'm looking forward to more videos. You're doing a great job.

Thank you so much!! I am so happy you found my channel! Here are the answers :) 1. I use sesame oil (roasted and unroasted one) and olive oil. For stir-fry dish, I often use roasted sesame oil or olive oil. For deep-fry dish, I like to use white sesame oil (unroasted one). 2. I use drinking sake. But you can also use cooking sake. Either one is fine! Thanks for your question, and hope you enjoy delicious Japanese dishes at home :D
