The Crimson Diablos may be a similar case to the giant Monoblos, Gravios and Glavenus, the existence of which can be inferred from the shells of Carapaceons.

To add with the case of the giant monsters inferred from the shells of the Carapaceons, there is also the giant Lao Shan Lung, inferred to the shell of the Shen Gaoren, and not only that a giant diablos, inferred to the shell of the Plum Daimyo Hermitaur.

We do actually have details about Male Gammoth, more than the other counterparts actually: Male Gammoth are extremely EXTREMELY Dangerous, being larger and stronger than female Gammoth. They also used unused concept art for Gammoth to represent them, saying they have less fur and a larger more shovel like tusk design. Male Gammoth are so dangerous they are one of the few monthers put on the "Do not hunt" List because a failed Gammoth male hunt would lead to a Male Gammoth rampaging and basically destroying a huge swathe of Land. The only upside is Male Gammoth are said to live in extremely remote locations.

I think the Eagle Wyvern fighting Rathalos might be a sister clade to all other current Bird Wyverns, ones that kept and refined Igurueibisu’s feather-wings unlike Borudoru and Keputosu which used membrane-wings instead. I’m almost surprised that the burst species of diablos from frontier that’s colored red wasn’t brought up in the segment about the red diablos, seems like it would have been a cool thing to mention
Great video as always !! I was a bit suprised about you not mentionning Varusaburosu when talking about the Red Diablos, because you also talked about Odibatorasu regarding Akantor and Ukanlos a bit earlier.
Frontier's Nargacugas are also all capable of going full blue in a special mode of sorts when enraged, implying the fully white individuals and blue fur back up the fact that Frontier Nargas are all pure and perfect individuals. The frost island skull is LITERALLY A Zorah Magdaros, and the skull literally is just a Zorah Skull. Zorah is a relative of Lao anyways so it's natural its skeletal structure would be similar An Eagle Bird wyvern may have inspired Toridcless, the Sun God Aztec Thunderbird Monster from Frontier.

I also heard that there was a monster that was a bird wyvern with a raptorial body and apparence but is covered in feathers and looks like a Falcon (especially its head). Overall it looks like a modern depiction of a Utahraptor albeit a solitary creature roughly the size of a Qeuropeco. It could be seen as the missing link between raptorial bird wyverns and 'true' bird wyverns. Canonically i think its just an undiscovered species that is rumored but not confirmed to exist in-universe yet.
This is freaking awesome!! Personally my favorite unseen monster is the Elder Piscine monster that is in one of the earlier concept artbooks of MH. I don't know if it is exist cannonically, but the Earth dragon is also cool.
Yian Garuga, and Scarred Yian Garuga are probably going to be the hardest bird wyverns we get, until 6th Gen at least, as they weren't introduced until the end of Master Rank.

I always wanted to have a mid - late game raptor like bird wyvern and the best option for it, without coming up with something new, was Scarface (Deviljho concept art) as a Glascanon rushdown predator, that is fast and agresive, but not as agile or jumpy as Odogaron. Jumping around headfirst in to battle like a discharging Fulgur.
its funny, I have played like 400 hours of rise, and never once did i ever question the GIANT DRAGON BONES in the ice area lol
You should do a part 2 this video was very intriguing.
Great game man!, and also the unknown leviathan monster looks like a mix between a niblesnarf, and lagiacrus
I wonder if there has been more lore or official art about the "Shining Blue Dragon" subspecies of Alatreon that seems to only be mentioned in it's ecology.
Always excited to see new content 🙏 another banger video fr king
Didn't Capcom say that the skull was literally a Zorah Magdaros tho

Could you imagine a survival thriller spinoff of monster hunter where the main protagonist is a wyverian survivor trying so hard to get to civilisation? The setting could introduce these unseen monsters that aren't as big a problem as main story monsters. Only s/he gets to actually see them because their stranded so deep in the middle of nowhere.
Amazing video 🙌🏻 the red diablos might have been the inspiration to the burst species in frontier Varusaboros (I think that’s its name) and also another giant monster that we don’t fight is the monk snail on the frost islands in Rise
I love watching and listening to your videos. Legit story or not it's all entertaining. Especially the World and Crimson Diablos.
14:13 Yeeeaaah!! I've been wondering about this for years!! Even got a couple friends to see this all had us scratches our heads as to if it was a creature or something inanimate! So glad you acknowledged this!!
The dragon skeleton in the Frost Islands is a Zorah Magdoros
Awesome video !
I dont think I ever saw anyone cover some of these monster before. Great video my dude
It would be so cool if you could unlock new species too fight by collecting lore pages like we do in Rise or very well hidden tracks that eventually leads to a secret arena or have a small chance to encounter it during a free roam such as The Guiding Lands mode in Iceborne.
the second violent wyvern if my eyes don't deceive me which they tend to do the bottom jaw doesn't seem to be connected like a predator from avp or the hypo giga and spino concept from the Isle. now that would be a fun monster to see
Awesome video. I'd personally love if the Burst Species Varusaburosu from Frontier entered the main series (along with the other burst species, please?) as a crimson diablos.
Your content has always been great and it fun to listen to. And its been helpful in writing for some new elements with my story. Don't know if you'll read it though. Side note: The big eagle fighting Rathalos could be just another flying wyvern. Possibly based on the Roc. It would fit the phylogeny
On that second deviljho on the bottom of its head it looks like a visible row of teeth, it could possibly split its lower jaw and that’s really cool to me
The Primal Forest from MH4 has entire areas that have you fight under or around the bones of a stupidly large mountainous sized dragons which is entirely unknown as to what they were but for all I know they could be just as big or even bigger than that dead Dalamadur from the Rotten Vale. Also theres that one dead (and HUGE) fossilized dragon sticking out of a ceiling of a cave maybe the rotten vale or Hoarfrost Reach i can't remember exactly which one.

There's a comically complete and posed skeleton of an Ibushi in the volcanic caverns in Rise, if that's what you're referring to. I'd also make a few additions: The numerous giant ribcages and strange bones (excluding the obvious dalamadur skeletons) that you can find in the Rotten Vale. One or multiple diplodocid style skulls in the Rotten Vale. The giant abelisaur style skull in the lower reaches of the Jurassic Frontier. The fossilized dragon skulls in the volcano in Rise (kind of look like the dragon from the monster hunter illustrations page 84, or maybe young tigrex). The unknown skulls that hunters fashion into helmets for the bone sets. Lastly, the giant "crocodile being attacked by the plesioth in Monster Hunter Illustrations page 51. It's body is long, slender, and very flexible like a serpent; seen wrapped around the Plesioth. Its neck is also rather long for where it's forelimbs seem to be, and a slight neck ridge reminiscent of Lagiacrus's hood. It's body plan seems to be somewhere between Lagiacrus and Najarala.
I think the second deviljho relative doesn’t just have massive incisors I think it’s jaw is split in 3 cause you can see the a row of teeth behind the centre 2 and that goes nearly to the back of the jaw
I love how some of frontiers' monsters and some others may have been based on some of these mythical creatures. Like how the white nargacugas could be the lucent/blinking nargacuga or how the crimson diablos could've inspired the varusaburosu
I like to image the monster bones in Rise is something similar to that of Jhen Mohran but an Ice version. Considering you fight that on a ship and in the last part of the fight the ship is stationary, could very well be where their final moments ended. Also regarding the "Nessie" one. There's a monster in rise that you see in the background of the Ice area that you can see moving but can't interact with. The eagle Wyvern could also be the seregios. Similar in body shape, and it even gives Rathalos a run for his money in one of the cutscenes.
4:58 looks like the bottom jaw can spilt aswell u can see small teeth on the bottom running down the middle of the jaw. Looks cool as
I would kill if you made an ecology video on Spore Hero
15:26 For the bird wyverns, Capcom has released an older version of Monster Hunter called Hypnocatrice
3:12 you got a comprehensive idea that was well enough together to have at the very least, 1 illustration of it if not a really well detailed explanation might be the lore hoarder in me but i couldnt bring myself to consentingly, willingly yuck it in the trash
12:01 there's a red diablos in Frontier, one of the burst / origin species

Ok i saw most of these and was like "Ok thats pretty neat" but when you got to the Jurassic Frontier monster i assumed you were gonna talk abkut the Shen Gaoren in the bottom of the map. But i had no idea that mystery monster in the water ever existed
Akantor and Ukanlos desert relative might be in Monster Hunter Wilds so we might see the idea being relized eventually
10:35 im sorry that voice crack got me
14:18 reminds me of the snout of a Nibelsnarf. But idk if they can take to the waters, or if they exclusively live in the desert
we might get a introduction on Eagle bird-like wyverns in Wilds since it'd fit the settings
I mean, Lucent Nargacuga is there. There was also that super sayan (Pearl Nargacuga I think) with red torso and everything else white from Frontier.
In other franchise, they introduced the Lucent Nargacuga, a very speciaal hunter permit must be obtained before they hunt a specific monster
Also ircc Abiorugu and Giaorugu from Frontier are implied to be relatives of Deviljho albeit not nearly as strong as the brutish pickle.
For real I need to see some of these in game, the crimson diablos is something I'm dying to fight and would be a excellent shoe in for a bloodbath, If they ever bring back the jarrasic frontier it would be a excellent opportunity to give us a chance to fight some of the extinct monsters we see in the famy trees, like the wyvern rex, the different colours of nargacuga is something I acutaly think could be used to help break up the monotony of farming monsters, we could take all the subspecies which are littery just colour swaps like pink Rathain and treat them like shiny pokemon where 1 in every 20 rathian we fight are pink but they still give the same materials as they wouldn't be treated as different monsters, i think it would be a great way to implement them, especially with super rare ones like blue nargacuga
If I recall correctly, both Gobul and Dalamadur we fight in game are young ones of their species. And both go to extremely far off regions to grow massive. Gobul to the bottom of the ocean and Dalamadur far into the mountains.

Question about the crimson diablos When it mentioned its color and all how come u haven't said or mentioned the frontier kind named Varusaburuso?
For the ones we see but have no other info on, the giant snail thing in rise you can see in the frost island.
This may be off topic n' all but I'm pretty new with monster hunter and its lore. I'm wondering if there are any legendary hunters lore out there?
The Crimson Diablos has appeared in Frontier also, his name Varsablos.. and im pretty sure Odibatros is the red desert god. one best thing about MHF, the develop team always try to stick to the original concept.. with MHF original flagship monster Espinas has appeared on the main series, hope more to come in the future
I don't think the unknown moutain dragon is a frosty Lao shan ling I think it's a frost varient of a Zora because of how it's skull is shaped and considering that we could fit a small zone on the skeleton of the unknown moutain dragon it may be a smaller Zora that produces frost instead of fire
While I am not doubting the clarification about the red sand dragon , or third calamity alongside Akantor and Ukanlos, what about Monster Hunter Online’s Tartaronis?
I like to imagine that the third Deviljho ate and grew so fast its skin is tearing off
Agreed, we are overdue for a high tier Bird wyvern and what if it was the Flagship of the new part one game of Monster Hunter 6?
I think the Dalamadur in the Rotten Vale from MHWorld also counts. It’s far bigger than the one that is fought in 4U, leading many to speculate if it was a juvenile, but it’s never fought or seen.
Oh i didnt knew about the jurassic frontier forest monste! ive never go back from there, so didnt saw it till now. i think a future game that could be a better selling bomb than world would be one with a huge amount of ecology to do. similar to world or rise, but with many minor or less threatening monsters in the area that you could just watch. imagine a map were you can see form above a huge group of female mizutsune on a beach or a lake like if they were seals.
I think that the third Deviljho subspecies is covered in affluvieum like Vaal hazaak
i mean a rathalos snaching its prey in the air might not be as far fetched as it sounds it may not do it to large flying monsters but it might do it on small flying monsters, well thats what i think at least .
Rather than (or in addition) to the sagging skin of the third violent wyvern being due to overexposure to dragon element, it could also be a part of that wyvern's defense? A soft and loose armor with maybe some fatty padding would also protect the muscles and other organs. Or maybe its skin comes off entirely as a defense! Like how some lizards lose their tails or how that one gecko loses its scales (Geckolepis megalepis). Its a neat design to speculate on
6:00 Okay but what about the tail of this creature? It has small resemblance to Glavenius tail. Could Glavenius be part of Violent Wyverns but split before Dragon element was introduced to Deviljho line?
I love monster hunter so much, there ks so much love put into to it
One question, would you classify Shara Ishvalda as a Mountain Dragon?
Any chance at a race breakdown video. Would like your in depth clarification.
You said there was only one monster alive and visible in maps but theres those huge jellyfish guys visible in the distance on rise (ice map i think)
Another example is Adult Gobul, the ones we fight are juveniles while the adults are found in the deep sea.
Giant eagle or parrot would be interesting addition.
I want to know what the monster was that made up the Dragonbone Relic. Though, I'm sure Capcom wont do that. As its in-game description states all knowledge of it has been lost to time. Probably utilize the dragon element.
Perhaps the Jurassic Frontier lake monster is a naked Nakarkos observing the incoming hunters?
We need more info about seregios but in the form of subspecies and stuff like that
Getting a giant high tier Eagle Wyvern would be amazing
13:37 well, that's a Zorah skull, no doubt about it. It May have been à Zorah subspecies, but it's not a Lao, it's a Zorah
