I am amazed at this particular one. I have followed merely every step in this article with the exception of several. After my meditation I decided to get my phone to look at the time and I noticed this. I feel like this one was clearly directed at me. It's not by coincidence that this appeared on my cell phone. I will not ask questions, but I know I'm right. If so whoever's looking out for me, thank you

Practice negatively daily. No, thank you. I have enough of negatism in my first 18 years of my life, followed by many more years. I know what to do when bad things happen to me. I practiced them in real life. I was proactive, I leave negative energy outside my sphere and in my home. I make sure I deal with negative energy as soon as possible. I don't let others see my emotions when they are cruel to me. Many years of practice. For the first years of my life, I was not wanted. Harsh. But I learned to overcome negatively. I learned to leave my family behind and not care. I was not wanted, and tgey told me every day of my life. But I had the last laugh; I have done many things, and I have their grandchildren. The chosen one was so inter themselves and had no children. I accomplished without their help. Not that they would help me. But as a second-class citizen in my family, f*** you all.

My X husband stumbled out into life between 1-3 pm every day. It stressed me out beyond belief. We did in 30 yrs what most accomplish in 3 weeks. Iife felt suppressed, stale, backwards. as life wasted away I grew angry, resentful, and restless. I'm now 66 and NEED to finally live with purpose and intention, according to my own standards and principles, not letting anyone dictate my steps forward. I'm so happy to have found this community, it speaks to who I've always been inside. I'm finally going with my flow, not agents it.

I have been told by many people that I am Stoic. I heard an explanation while young and never questioned it. You don't let pain overwhelm you. I am old now and just heard this clip. I have been lost for several years. Deeply unhappy and failing in all aspects. For 55 years, I embodied these practices. My life was hugely successful in my extra field of social good works. Others saw my connection with all ten of these things. I never read any of the great masters. I am so grateful for my life, relative good health, and ability to live the life I choose. I choose to listen everyday to the clip and forgive myself often. But I marvel at what I can get done even still. THANK YOU FROM THE BOTTOM OF MY HEART! You may have just saved my life.

I’m beginning to like and appreciate stoicism. It’s a path of good advice for anyone , especially for young men. You get the good advice, but not scattered in an overly negative alpha male podcast that just wants your money. Not scattered into a lecture by a propagandist selling young boys radical conservatism. It’s pure concreted good advice and philosophy with no strings attached. Keep up the good work

Battle of the day is with you and your mind is the battle is god battle with the devil and you are the only way the devil hurts god is when you hurt your self god says fight the battle and have no fear God said it is already written the start is the finish and the finish is just the start you have a blank page to write your own life and you have what you ask for you knock and the door will open when you can't fight no more than stand and when you can't stand no more than god will fight the battle for you miracles will happen and magic happens believe it faith. keep standing with faith with the lord no weapon can not hurt you god wins against the devil or he wouldn't be god if he didit . Never give up n keep going with your faith god loves you god bless you all the children of god 😊😊😊

Your correct. The battle is within ourselves, and our own minds. We can either choose to think negatively or positively. It cannot exist simultaneously. So isn't it so much better for our own psyche and well being to be positive. I used to feel sorry for myself. The ohh Woe is me syndrome" I was allowing Satan to win. But now with Gods good graces..I wake up thinking positive, with a smile, trying to be the best version of myself. To be the change for the good that I want to see in the world. If no one is smiling you be the one that is smiling. Don't wait for someone else. If you don't get a compliment. You compliment someone. Don't wait for someone else. I used to wait...now I do. Thank you Father for making me in your image and to be who you want me to be. God bless!

25:01 I have found a change in the people who I have around me with the use of understanding the words resilient self, fulfilment, by publishing the information that I find most useful in the stoic video I listen too often. I am past the point of assenting my professional career age has caught up with me and my personal growth has not got the offers that I once had. I’m not living in the past but the experience I found in developing my career has been very positive and inspiring to me. I don’t want to add to my ego. I enjoy the possessions I have and I need them for myself tomorrow and maintain life. I’ve been living the life of a monk. I used my isolation and solitude as a tool to get me to this point. I’m not sad or lonely. I think I have need to have more time with people but I don’t find drinking large quantities of alcohol fulfilling. I shun drinking too much. I know I have knowledge and wisdom. I enjoy being good at the process of life. Because I don’t have the trappings of a successful person car , homeowner, woman I am viewed as abnormal

What the video said is a good reminder for me. The problem that I’m facing has been continuously affecting me for years. Though I have not met people who are around, I believe they are helping; and though the problem has not been solved, they have put a lot of effort in this. I’m grateful, and I appreciate what they have done for me.🙏🏻🙏🏻 It is a good suggestion that we should prepare the night before every fresh morning, for example, through reflection. The stoic philosophy reminds me that we should focus on what we can control and focus on the present moments, so when adversity happens in our lives, we can face it in a peaceful way in order to find out what we can do.

Wow, another impactful lesson on Stoic principles. So many of these principles resonated with me but the one most inspiring was #6 Practice Discipline in Little Things; especially the concern of overlooking the small things that mold character an events. I would like to see more on this topic if you believe it can be expanded into more meaningful inspiration and growth for others.
