@@StoicHabit101 Let me preface one thing. It won't be easy, there will be a lot of struggles that will make you feel discouraged from time to time, but hey, who ever said life would be easy? At first I blamed myself for the breakup, I should have seen the signs earlier and anticipated them earlier. I kept asking myself those questions all the time, but I noticed that at a certain point it was destroying me from the inside. it put me through hell when I started comparing myself to that sucker who pleased my wife. I didn't understand why someone could be so disrespectful. I started playing those images that I created myself in my head. In my situation that is the first thing I had to work on, my mind. my self-esteem. It's difficult to say what my next step was, but I remember my late uncle once saying you should always laugh in life, no matter how bad things are. I plan to travel around the world with the time I have been given. Also be aware of this, that we do not have all the time in the world. but spend your time in a useful way. I currently help people who are having a hard time, such as the homeless and young people who, for example, have no parents and have to rely solely on themselves. We came into this world alone, and we will leave this world alone. So once again create awareness, I know it is not suddenly solved. My grandmother once said: give more to people, and never expect anything in return, if God or the Universe whatever you want to call it, shows you good things one day then it will come back. be it, to your family, your children, whoever... but never expect anything. so do things from your heart. and never give up. You should never give up on yourself. Always remember that you are worth it.

This is wonderful advice.. for the layperson.. but some of us, though we find strength in these words, already knew this..beware of putting stars in other people’s eyes. This is very advanced knowledge, but maybe make sure that the unfeeling inhuman algorithm that has nothing to lose is actually able to pronounce the words you think are so important. Some dreams are bigger than you give credit to, and are dependent upon an equal exchange of energy. It’s obvious that the authors are not singers. You can have all the talent in the world, but MY dreams needed more support than you seem to comprehend. I guess in the end, I actually did win, because my walls and barriers are impenetrable. AND, I eventually did find my tribe that loves my voice.. not a damn one of them can help me pay rent.. what was the gross annual income of these bastions of stoicism?

"Waste no more time arguing about what a good man should be. Be one." (Marcus Aurelius, Meditations) Does this video explore Stoic practices for identifying your values, setting goals aligned with those values, and making consistent positive changes, or does it present Stoicism as a set of rules to solve all your problems?

Heftig
