As a woman I am always in survival mode. Un til I met my best friend (male) he has always been a gentleman. Opens doors, helps around my house. Let’s me be me and I feel safe i find myself always making dinner or just wanting to do feminine things for him brings out my motherly instincts. So yes it’s all in how you treat a woman.

I have a long-time friend who tells me her problems and complaints. She tries to guilt trip me if I don't answer the phone every few days when she calls. Then she says, where were you? We haven't spoken in a while..when it's been 4 days. This has been going on for years. She talks over me. I finally told her, "talk to your pastor or therapist"

I just recently dealt with something similar My solution ended up a little rough, but still effective It was the same idea, regarding multiple suggestions to hire a therapist. It’s unfortunate when people don’t realize how they destroy their real life relationships by treating them like therapeutic relationships Go down the list, family, members, old friends, and new friends, associates, people at work One by one they all fall Or you can avoid all of that by just speaking to a professional and sorting things out that way Not that we don’t want to be good friends, to our friends that are hurting and need guidance or an ear But enough is enough! We must protect our own energy and create healthy boundaries

Thank you so much. I needed to hear this!!!!!! Even some of the things that were said im already working on it. Which surprised me because sometimes we don't see the positives in ourselves. We sometimes dnt see the progress. Hearing this, it's like seeing it from the outside makes you pat yourself on the back and appreciate the new you!! I'm at the point where I'm working on myself.
