At 7:09, I remember in the months leading up to WrestleMania 25, thinking Jeff Hardy was gonna be in the main event. He was getting over with the fans at the time and I thought he was gonna headline the show. I was a little disappointed it didn’t happen that way.

@@SaulAguilar. to be fair HBK/Taker went on to have arguably the greatest match in WrestleMania or even WWE history that night, bit like HBK/Razor going long at WrestleMania 10 which meant an 8 man tag match didn’t feature til the next night on Raw but turned out fantastically

man this whole interview screamed of WWE narrative 😅

I've met Matt and Jeff and they are AMAZING as well as Carlito they were all together with Edge in a house show and they got out of their cars to talk to us all even though we were a small group of dedicated fans in the middle of a massive snow storm xD of course edge was driving . he knows the snowy roads home ;)

It's such a shame that Jeff is now gone from WWE. Giving Jeff one last big push and becoming champion, would have brought me back into watching current WWE. But now that he's out, I have no reason to watch, so I don't. I'll just settle with watching old WWE from the late 90s into the 2000s until I get to the point where the Hardy's left and things started going downhill.

I met the Hardy Brothers before and man Both are friendly gentlemen and are true gems to watch compete in person. Fun times!

Being a body guy in wrestling, I don’t use a lot of high flying cruiserweight style moves, but Jeff is the sole reason I use a standing swanton and a head scissors 🤞🏼

Am I the only one that liked Jeff's TNA belt? It was like The Rock's bull belt or Stone Cold's skull. Remaking the belt at his image is A long heel tradition, and that design fit him.

I have always absolutely loved his belt. I never understood how people thought it was the ugliest thing they'd seen. It was awesome how it glowed and that it was his artwork. I was quick to buy a replica, and I later was lucky enough to get him to sign it.

My favourite wrestler when I was a kid. It just saddens me to see how he is used today. I really want them to do something big and keep it consistent

I watched some of this interview and one part he said caught me by surprise but makes alot of sense When he said he doesnt pitch alot of ideas to vince and he doesnt have a great relationship with him and i was just like man if he had just a more then good relationship with him and was fine going into his office all the time jeffs career might have even more great moments if that was possible

Likely doesn’t feel him and Vince would have chemistry. Jeff a free spirit who likely doesn’t want to conform more than he has too, and Vince is conservative and about his money. Might be best to have others work as a proxy for smoother communication

Vince always had that big ❤️ for the Hardy's if I remember Vince was adamant to push Jeff and Matt as individual stars back from 2007 to 2009 because HHH said to Vince Jeff isn't the right guy with his issues but Vince pushed Jeff because of how over he is with the fans and beating John in merch sales

assuming all 4 men can stay healthy and sufficiently mobile, I'd love to see The Hardy Boyz retire as a tag team, and their last match is against The Young Bucks. Drop all pretence, characters, gimmicks for one match, just a straight up exhibition with all the flippy shit, extreme spots and bumps their ageing bodies can handle one last time. And I'd like to see tradition broken and The Young Bucks put The Hardy Boyz over in their retirement. Maybe even for the tag titles.

Willow would never work in WWE. Vince won't allow it because he doesn't understand it. Also I think about Jeff being back in the main event scene but watching him wrestle nowadays its clear to see that he should switch up his wrestling style as he is not the speedster he use to be. His Swanton Bomb just looks so bad now too.
