Jeff is one celebrity that I have rooted for since childhood. When I got older and understood addiction and how he struggled, I wanted him to win even more. I'm 25 now and have struggled with my own substance issues but great family like this got me to the other side. Everyday is a struggle but nothing feels better than waking up and being able to love life sober. He has so many people in his corner, he can do this

Matt is what family is supposed to be... my family literally got angry when i went to rehab... so clearly it wasnt about me right? haha so illogical, frankly confusing to this day. Matt has helped pick up the pieces a few times and still... nothing but love and support for his brother, i appreciate that so much. Before his own career, his own life... he will be there for his brother, damn right. Be very grateful if you know you can rely on your bro or family... Jeff would probably be dead and gone for a while now without his family, i imagine he would say the same thing.

My cousin and I grew up watching the Hardy Boyz. Even tho my cousin (Jordan) is older than me, I was always Matt, and he was Jeff, because Jeff was “cooler”. As we grew away from wrestling, we both got mixed into partying and drugs. While I managed to overcome those demons, Jordan couldn’t. Many times I sat and cried to him about getting clean, and many times he fell back into those old ways. I’m glad to say that today he is almost 6 years removed from where he once was. We’re the Hardy Boyz again ! I hope with all my heart Jeff can turn it around ❤️‍🔥

I lost one of my best friends over a year ago to drugs. And so badly do I wish the steps Jeff is taking now was pushed on him earlier. I’m proud of him for not giving up and keep trying and now wanting to find something positive from all of this. I think people forget the mental part of drug/alcohol abuse is WANTING that change and needing that help, love and care from those closest. At the end of the day, Jeff is doing so much good for himself, his kids, his family and legacy. We are rooting for you Jeff, and Matt too because he is also apart of this! This doesn’t just effect Jeff, but those in his circle/family! You got this guys!!! And I can’t wait to see Jeff reblossom into something even greater!!!

This resonated with me alot. Not being an addict tho but surviving Domestic Violence Surviving my childhood with S.A and processing all of that, I had very dark days and I would be so close to wanting to call it quits and I just didnt want to be here. It would have been easy for me to let what happened to me keep me down but I hated who I was and how I conducted myself and I over my adult yeqrs had gone on to have 2 beautiful boys. Working on yourself and being real and confronting your demons hurts and its absolutely scary but 6 years on me and my boys are in such a good spot, I love life. It was such a dark time and I always said after coming out of that its beautiful being able to see the world in colour again. I wish your brother the absolute best moving forward.

I'm proud of Jeff Hardy and fully support him much love and prayers to Matt and the family. I would like to see Jeff soon, not necessary in wrestling because I don't want to push him back if he's not read. I mean back in the public eye; I've been a fan for as long as I can remember Jeff is my hero. He motivated me for a lot of things in my personal life I even dressed as him for Halloween in 2010. Many would say he got me into wrestling, and I've always been worried about his personal life. I've never met him in person or seen him wrestle live because something always happens before I can for example he was going to be at Smackdown on March 13th, 2020 and I was going to go but COVID got in the way, I was going to go to one of his concerts before he got in trouble last year those are just some examples, but I plan to meet him in person or see one of his matches live one day.

I've always felt a kindred spirit (from a fan perspective, not on an interpersonal level) with Jeff. I've had some significant trauma in my life, physical and mental. I had an addiction to alcohol in my high school years, thankfully I was able to kick that. Then I worked in EMS, and that brought a long more trauma. I was also misdiagnosed medically for 20 years. So it's been rough. I have that addictive personality, and sadly my addiction is food. Talk about hard to kick addiction wise! I also suffered a devastating spinal and spinal cord injury that led to hemiplegia and, as my surgeon puts it, severe bone destruction. Thankfully I have no addiction tendencies with pain pills, otherwise I would be bed bound. Heading a deeper dive into Matt & Jeff's lives was a worthwhile listen. I'm glad Jeff is in a healthier place mentally and physically. Of course I hope we will see him wrestle again, but only if it's what he wants to do and it's a healthy choice for him. I hope, regardless of where life takes him (and Matt), it's nothing but good things going forward. I hope anyone who listened to this who's struggling takes away from it that it gets better. Keep fighting for your future. Help is out there. You just have to reach for it ❤️

And Jon, you are an awesome host. You are able to walk the line of asking the hard questions, without being disrespectful. Keep up the great work!

I'm a recovering drug addict myself and Jeff's issues really hit home. Jeff has to want it and he has to want it for himself. Becoming clean and sober is hard enough without putting extra pressure on yourself. By extra pressure I mean telling yourself you're gonna do it for your parents, spouse, kids, or fans. Jeff needs to be selfish enough to learn self worth and love. When you don't love yourself, you can never give love to anyone else. When you try it comes off forced and clouded. It's also impossible to accept love. Your partner will compliment you and you don't believe them. They'll say "I love you" you don't believe it. Jeff needs to want sobriety for himself first and then other people can come in and inspire him to want to be the best version of himself.

I hate the iwc and whoever felt the need to comment about Jeff Hardys mental health and addiction issues. All the criticisms like they're perfect people. It's not up to anyone to "stop giving people chances." It's not up to anyone to judge whether or not someone's career is over. As a man who continues to struggle with addiction at a young age, I know exactly how these reoccurring patterns occur. Just like Matt said, our childhood greatly influences our decision making. I ironically live in Vegas and have multiple, legal addictions that I just can't beat and I wish someone would come to my face and say "you've had too many chances." But with all that being said, childhood is not an excuse. Where I live is not an excuse. my age is not an excuse. It's on me to be better and to accept the consequences of my actions. Jeff Hardy was my childhood super hero, still is. Ironic how I walked directly in his shoes..

A lot of people throw shade at Jeff because we like to kick people when they're down. We like to pick on addicts. We use pejorative terms like "alcoholic" and "drug addict" instead of "a person with substance abuse disorder." The driving is a different issue, yes. But why Jeff drinks and takes pills or whatever else...are people really that dense? He's been bumping for 25 years and many of them were extreme involving tables ladders and chairs. I've had 5 ankle surgeries and still can't imagine what Jeff's back must feel like when he gets out of bed in the morning. Anyone who throws shade at him for the addictions themselves has never been in chronic pain but could use a 6 month bout of it for a little humility.

Love Matt's honesty here, I learnt a lot. If this is the end for Jeff (as a wrestler) I am truly grateful that I was lucky enough to discover such performer, I started watching wrestling thanks to him when I was in school. Like many people I assume. I know what addiction or mental issues can do to somebody...or his family for that matter, so I truly hope the human being behind the "enigma" can go through all of that, his safety and well being is obviously more important than our entertainement.

Indeed. Matt is a great guy and has family values. That is what Jeff needs to hang with his brother more. I know how much they have been through together. Well I hope they can still be together. That is what everyone would want to see. So good luck Matt and I'm praying for your brother too. Love your honesty and luv you guys . Good luck . Love you. Take care and be good.
