My father didn't know much about teaching me and I don't blame him because he never had a father to teach him. But I am still grateful to even have a father. And I thank the lord for leading me here. And though even I won't be a father until a very Long time. God bless you

I lost my Dad at the end of last year. He suffered from alzheimers for many years towards the end of his life, and during those years he was not the man I knew from my childhood. But as I reflected on what I would say at his funeral, I remember the father he was and the many things he taught me. He was a God honouring man, he shared the gospel with me and it was through him that I became a Christian. As his only daughter, I was close to my Dad. But he made sure that he treated my brother and I equally, always encouraging us both to do our best. He was also there for us when we made mistakes and made wrong decisions. To the many people who were not privileged to have a good father figure in lives - I would say there is a Heavenly Father who loves you dearly. Read His Word (the Bible) and get to know Him. Read the story of the prodigal son (Luke 15: 11 - 32. This parable portrays God as a Father who welcomes us back home with open arms even when his wayward children make some wrong decisions in life. In His greatest act of love for us God the Father sent his only son to this earth to die on a cross to make payment for our sins. This so we could be His sons and daughters and spend an eternity in heaven with him.

My dad is basically scared of me and apparently has only ever felt comfortable around my brother. He has so many mental issues, I don't blame him for having them, I feel sorry for him. I do however blame him for refusing to address his issues and try to overcome them. I don't even want a relationship with him anymore unless I were to be called to take care of him, I wouldn't like it but I would do it. I just want a father. Not just someone who can tell me what to do, I can and have figured things out on my own, I want someone who truly understands me. I'm sorry for rambling, I just don't have anyone to talk to and I guess I'm feeling sorry for myself. I just want a father so badly.

Daniel - The list made me think the following questions: Did I do these as a man? Did my son see these in my life? Did I teach my son to do these things too? Well, I can say “yes, “no,” and “sometimes.” Thanks for the honesty the invitation to reflect.

Yeah. I mean, all of what you say is true - however, there is _a lot_ more context attatched to it! Of course what you say resonates with people who already started to reflect, who started to look for answers. But having a conversation about all of that with somebody who isn't even at the stage of looking for answers is next to impossible because all they will have to offer are excuses, some of them _very_ sophisticated! Believe me, I tried 😂 But the conclusion that I came to was that with those who would need to hear this most you only get so far. At some point you have no other choice to just drop them..

Hey, Daniel. Can you do a video on your thoughts on Alpha Male. I don’t know if you’ve heard of Andrew Tate. Do you think the modern “alpha male” is toxic? Modern times Red Pill is teaching men to be in a relationship where the man is the world and women is just a bonus. Thank you

Let me tell you this, you can only give advice about being a good father when you actually become father! Don't be quick to critique and judge what other men do with their kids unless you have experienced the responsibility, fear, pressure first hand. It's easy to read articles on fatherhood and feel knowledgeable about it, but let's see you become one and then practice what you read! Create your own and then judge.

He does start of by saying, that it is things he learned from his own dad, and I suppose it is teachings he has put into actions through out his life. Just to say it might be of some value, what he says. In my humble opinion, I believe that a God-fearing dad, who has recieved the Spirit of The Lord to discern and to bring up children is the BEST dad👨‍👩‍👧 God bless
