Why doesn't Jesus save the people who he put in hell, considering not everyone who passed away repented, that means those people will be in hell whether I like it or not, so why doesn't Jesus save those people? He's God, he should be able to, so why doesn't he, ultimately, if he's punishing them, why doesn't he just complete the punishment in a temporary amount of time and save them later on? 🏔️

the truth that is being a new creation and having a new life in Christ is powerful. i was an absolute failure and when i asked God to please take away every one of my excuses and and pride keeping me from him and keeping my life in termoil and to take my life for his will, thats when everything changed. thats when my life started charging towards success and happiness and all i had to do was thank God and allow him to lead me. Giving my life to God that day was changed everything from that day on. every bad thing in my life has been removed and now i have the job i needed, my own place, no more stress and anxiety and fear and addiction etc. now im confident in his power and will and i can just wake up excited to start another day with Jesus and walk in his light and just love the world hes created and is sharing with us. life is so much more beautiful when you know that God is with you.

I have a problem with many Bible stories. But these two (Abraham told to sacrifice his son, and Jesus being crucified) are the ones I find MOST problematic. Abraham has complete faith in God. As it says in Hebrews 11, Abraham knew that even if he slaughtered his son, God would raise Isaac up again, alive. He knew this because God had already promised that Abraham would have many descendants, through his son, Isaac. It proves Abraham's faith in God, for sure. And similarly, Jesus KNEW he would ALSO be saved, rise from the dead and ascend into heaven to sit on his father's right hand. So, God knew that truth. And Jesus knew that truth. Which is all fine, BUT: God and Jesus KNEW the outcome. They both KNEW Jesus would not die. It didn't involve faith at all. They both knew FOR SURE! So was this really a true sacrifice? We're supposed to have faith in order to achieve salvation. But, from the point of view of God and Jesus, it was surely a rigged game! They already KNEW the outcome! Given that SAME knowledge, wouldn't ANY ONE OF US (even those who, like myself, do not follow standard Christian dogma) agree to suffer the SAME sacrifice. If we had the sure knowledge of salvation for ourselves. And ALSO (more importantly) the knowledge that we were helping the rest of humanity at the same time. Many have given their lives for FAR LESS than that, after all. This is the MAIN message of Christianity. That Jesus suffered and died on the cross for OUR salvation. Yet, as far as I can see, the story simply doesn't add up! Every explanation I've heard or read has the the same basic, essential, flaw. If God exists, he would surely not give us flawed stories and demand we have faith anyway. That would NOT be a God I could take seriously. So I'm left either with an imperfect God or an imperfect story. I'd rather believe in a perfect God. So I therefore have no choice but to discard the Bible as imperfect.

Hebrew 7 states that he was "Without father, without mother, without genealogy, having neither beginning of days nor end of life." I agree there are many, many connections between Melchizedek and Christ, but we know that Christ had a mother, was born, and certainly conquered death through His resurrection. Big issue with your #5. Jesus had "beginning of days", as He was born of a virgin. Jesus had "end of life". The only way He could rise from the dead is if He first died. We also have an extensive genealogy of Christ provided in the opening of the Gospel of Matthew. A mysterious figure, indeed.

@@DA-og5pj of your God is all knowing you won't just know which of chocolate or vanilla I will eat, but you will know exactly which one I will eat, when I will eat it, how much I will eat and what I will do afterwards. Is he all knowing? If so then all these activities have been predetermined and therefore free will does not exist

There is no thoughts of the Heart. The Thinking Parts of the Brain is the only Source of Thoughts. And the Heart is only for pumping Blood.
