FYI, Netflix has added all 3 seasons of HANNIBAL. It's an awesome show many people overlooked when it originally aired. Hopefully Netflix picks it up for a new 4th season.

Hey! I read what you said about Dark and I'm glad to hear it is very popular. My experience has been that people I tell about it were unaware of it up to that point and then were very grateful when they watched it. Maybe The Disaster Artist and Uncut Gems are not as popular because most people have already seen them. Thanks for the other mentions though I will definitely be checking them out.

@@snakecai6426 you should watch Hannibal. The writing is incredible and the acting and directing is sublime. Like Mindhunter its a deep dives into the psychology of serial killers. Season 2 is so well conceived and written that it will literally make you question your own sanity.

Travelers is such a hidden gem, I never see it being mentioned everrrr. Mindhunter, The Last Kingdom and Outlander are excellent too. Black Sails is not on Netflix but if you're interested with Pirates of the Caribbeans + Game of Thrones-ish, get into it. Also, What We Do in the Shadows for comedy

I liked the show a lot haha I'm still salty about the book talk and comments on age groups of readers from the very very beginning 😂😂 but I might go back to it!

I stumbled onto "Zero Zero Zero" and blew through the entire first season in 2 days. If you liked "Narcos" or the "Sicario" movies then you will really like "Zero Zero Zero".

Yeah on Amazon Prime and will second that it's an excellent show that is definitely in the "hidden gem" category for shows. It's 6 episodes that are an hour each...the Mexican military soldier/cartel/religious extremist guy was really wild and one of the scariest and well done while being believable/relatable (to audience) gangster characters I've ever seen.

Knight fall is a good one if you enjoy history its about the Templar knights

"Call My Agent" is amazingly well written and acted. Part comedy, part drama and 100% FRENCH! Brilliant.

I usually recommend two shows that are both awesome and easy to watch for most people (as in, not too out there or nerdy like I don't know, Spartacus, the OA or Misfits): Bodyguard and Caliphate. I guess I could add Bloodline and Rectify to that list. Although on second thought, many people might not be into Rectify.

One of my personal favorites on netflix is called "Merlin". Its about the wizard merlin and is pretty low-key but is still entertaining

"The King", about Henry V, is the most underrated film on Netlifx I've ever seen. It's extremely enjoyable, and is my favourite film at the moment.

Outlaw King is pretty good, but The King is not underrated, it's just bad. It's so historically inaccurate, it hurts, especially considering it depicts one of the most famous and best documented battles in European medieval history. Henry the V was the exact opposite of the boy playing him. By the time of the battle, Henry was a hardened warrior, 6ft 3 in height (which was huge at that time) with a scar on his right cheek, because he took an arrow to his face, and they had to invent and build a tool to get it out. Yet in the movie he is portrayed as an emo boy who's manipulated into going to war against France, when in fact Henry wanted to get the throne of France. The Dauphin is portrayed as a comically evil guy, and killed after the battle, when in fact he wasn't even there. And that's just scratching the surface on why it's a bad movie.

@@scratchy996 The historical inaccuracy is so obviously intentional, as it is based purely off of Shakespeare's Henriad. Henry's transition was naturally portrayed as a careless boy to King of England in a dramatic light. However, I will admit that a more historical version would have been nice.

Just sharing two “hidden” jems I really loved: Sense8, which might not be too hidden but deserves mention. It’s a NETFLlX OG that got cancelled early due supposedly budget issues. The finale, however, does not disappoint. The second is an Aussie show called, Offspring. A DramCom about a zany OB and her unconventional, yet totally wonderful family.

This has to be my favourite channel for TV show recommendations. I've never even once been disappointed

These may or may not be considered underrated. Hilda, Kipo and the Age of Wonderbeasts, Slasher, Seis Manos, Tuca and Bertie (that one got canceled, but Adult Swim picked it up for a second season), American Vandal, Transformers: War for Cybertron Trilogy, Mindhunter, the How to Train Your Dragon cartoon.

I LOVED Sense8! It was genius! Like "Heroes" but WAY better, and it's the best example of what fan pressure can really do if we unite.

One show that nobody ever comments on, but in my opinion is the best mini series on Netflix (based on the book) is Cathedral of the Sea, which is incredible and another historical drama, based on true events is Bonfire of Destiny. Could not stop watching either. And by the way, he is right Giri/Haji was also amazing.

The Endless was very good!!! I do think about it often. I would classify this as a sci-fi horror, like High Life (also a tremendously great film!)

Great list. Will check out Lovesick and Giri/Haji. I've seen Free Fire and it was pretty fun. I'd like to recommend Teenage Bounty Hunters. The show just launched last month but isn't getting a lot of attention coz of the trailer. It's surprisingly fantastic. It is produced by Jenji Kohan of Orange is the New Black and Glow so it has credentials. And I want a second season.

@@denske1272 i agree it's poorly paced but I don't think they stayed far from the 1st season, i mean (spoiler alert) OA jumped to a different space so the storyline maybe different from the first space but they stayed with the plot. IMO i loved season 2 better than 1.

@@MitchJrM I wasn't trying to say it was bad, but I was much more invested in season 1. My main issue with it was the introduction of the new co-lead character. His whole storyline felt like a pointless addition to drive the story forward with no thought given to developing his character. That and the whole multiverse thing being dropped at the end had me not stressing the cancellation. But I am sorry you wont get to see the end of a show you loved mate, cheers.
