About Dyson Sphere Program:
Dyson Sphere Program is a sci-fi simulation game with space, adventure, exploration and factory automation elements where you can build your own galactic industrial empire and take over the galaxy!
You are a space engineer in charge of a project launched by the space alliance COSMO, tasked with a massive undertaking: constructing Dyson Spheres (a megastructure that would orbit around a star, harnessing all its power and energy) to produce the energy that humanity needs. Only a few decades ago, Dyson Spheres were considered a hypothetical, impossible invention - but now it’s in your hands… Will you be able to turn a backwater space workshop into a galaxy-wide industrial production empire?
Neutron stars, white dwarfs, red giants, gaseous and rocky planets… There is a big and varied universe out there, waiting for you to gather all its resources.
Every playthrough will be unique: your universe will be procedurally generated every time you start a new game. There will be different types and distribution of stars, planets and resources. Will you manage to thrive and build your Spheres, no matter what the universe throws at you?
As a space engineer, you are expected to design your interstellar factory and production lines, not to micromanage every small package going back and forth. You have to transport materials from one planet to another, forming interstellar transport teams that gather resources and bring them to where they are needed.
Then, your resources can be transported between facilities through conveyor belts, and you’ve got the technology to help your buildings fit the grid automatically during the construction process. You’ve got the best tools COSMO can afford to build a massive-scale automated production line - the most efficient one ever seen in the universe!
In my Dyson Sphere Program project let’s play gameplay I’ll go over Dyson Sphere Program tips, any new updates or any update, and I might even do a Dyson Sphere Program tutorial.

Also, the blue O type stars are the brightest and thus generate the most energy when you build a dyson sphere, they have the highest multipliers.

Just putting a line of those would give you so much breathing room! Plus if need be you can just delete a tank and replace it to immediately remove all the hydrogen! Edit: Welp that's what I get for commenting before I finish watching, lmao

tips for extra storage: there are far more efficient ways of storing extra stuff than just bringing more out than in. for supply towers youll have efficiency coming near to 100% efficiency while youll have complete 100% for demanding towers first for supplying towers: Variation 1: use a max lv belt to put the items out of the towers into storage containers then instead of taking a low tier belt into the tower again you put them on an existing belt so that items coming from the production facilities have priority. this way you'll have the same concept like in the video but more efficient. Variation 2: dont bother getting items into the tower first, just put a storage unit in between and transfer them into the tower. this way you can have 6 belts coming to the storage (probably just 4 if clocked high / also depending if you use fluid or solid storage) and the same amount going into the transport tower. this way youll only have some efficiency problems by dealing with sorters which you can almost completely negate with fully upgraded t3 sorter stacking (100% efficient with fluid storage). which variant you want to use highly depends on your production ratio, for low ratio use variant 1 since its less space consuming, for high output factories you want to use variant 2 because variant 1 efficiency gravely declines the more stuff is on the belt. for both variants: if you want to burn excess ressources, take a priority splitter (1: between the oncoming point and the transport tower / 2: in front of the extra storage) prioritizing the belt to go to the supplying tower. now for demanding towers: put a priority splitter right after the belt exiting the tower. priority goes to the production facilities Variation 1: take the non prio belt a bit down the prio belt, put a storage in between and either put them directly back on the priority belt or on a belt that feeds the prio belt. (also depends on fluid or solid storage) Variation 2: take the non prio belt back to the demanding tower, put a storage in between and let the belt feed the exact same belt it came from. Which variation you use here does not matter regarding efficiency, though if you split the belt pretty much right after exiting the demanding tower, youll want to use variation 2. if you have no space close to the tower and are not splitting youll want to use variation 1. Both variants will work and their differences in effect are negligent. Edit: for demanding towers i cant recommend burning. also for demanding towers: you can split the items from the belt wherever you like, just make sure to put them back on before the belt gets split the first time disregarding its own splitter. also for anyone getting this far and playing the game themselves, something you might not now: when pulling a belt around a corner you can switch between horizontal first and vertical first by pressing R, blew my mind recently pressing it accidentally

Because the energy exchangers don't prioritize the thermal power plants you may consider placing an array of exchangers set to charge to give your system sufficient power demand. Then your thermal power can burn at full capacity optimizing your oil bonfire's effectiveness. Your whole world may end up exporting more energy than it imports. You may not even need the discharging exchangers after all that but it's always a solid backup and it doesnt cost you anything to keep them.

  • @LazyLoneLion
    @LazyLoneLion3 жыл бұрын

Also you can balance discharging batteries by immediately charging them :) Only the excess energy will go into charging. But if you have like 90% of excess -- it will all go into the charging and will not need any import.

The idea with smaller fractionater setups is that you input 30 per second into the first machine, but 1% of the time one of those hydrogens wont come out and move onto the next one, meaning the next machine only gets 29 in a particular second instead of 30. It creates a gap in the belts, and the more machines you have, the bigger this gap can become in the loop. The last machine in the loop may only be getting say 25 per second on average because the machines before it consumed 5 hydrogen from that second of input before it reached the last machine, thus it will only have 100 hydrogen go through it every 4 seconds instead of every 3.333 seconds. That is a fairly significant hit to production rate of the last few machines, so having hydrogen input as frequently as possible makes it more efficient, esp since the machines consume the same amount of power it seems.

IIRC you have an incoming oil of ~ 77 crude per second and each Plasma Refining tower consumes 0.5 crude per second. Quick math says to process your oil that you'll need ~160 Refining Towers. A Mk 3 belt can support a row of 60 or a split of 2x30. Overshooting on production and favoring even numbers, you can have 12 blocks of 30 plasma towers to handle 180 Crude Per Second. That should handily cover almost an entire planet. Generating 90 Hydrogen per second would feed 7.5 Casimir crystal assemblers and send the remaining 6 hydrogen per second to start the X-Ray Cracking chain reaction. At what point do you create Dumpster Planet to charge accumulators with Hydrogen burning thermal power stations lol

I made a setup for this that doesn't need a hydrogen input, you just have to feed it to start it, than it will feed itself as it puts out more than takes in. Just loop the belt back to the beginning with a splitter, just feed 2/3 back in and let the rest go for production. Then you only need to feed refined oil in. 😁

Heyy Kibitz, you need blue sorters for the pink cristals the green ones cant handle the hydrogen :) Also you can get infinite sulfuric acid from oceans.

On the one hand it pains me to see him putting so much effort into certain things that a couple upgrades would solve, but on the other I see him thoroughly enjoying the building process and savoring the factory at each stage. I guess there's no rush to jump to the end game. He does need to exploit gas giants more though.

I don't recommend x-ray cracking, because you need the oil for organic crystals and graphine and you just geht hydrogen, which you can farm almost infinitely from a gas giant. I think the oil is more important than a bit of extra hydroxen

Also you don't need as many dump burners. You will spend Hydrogen on your casimir crystals and so on and will get it from fire ice and (much more) from gas giants.

    1) Using sulfuric acid from planets with sulfuric acid oceans would be more efficient 2) You're gonna need sooo much hydrogen for your casimir cristals (For my production line I'd need like 3 gas gians surrounded by 40 orbital collectors each) 3) Can't you use fireice from a gas giant? Wouldn't that be an unlimited fire-ice supply and thus an unlimited graphene supply?

In Satisfactory, for my coal power plant! I have Mk3 belts bringing the coal to the plant, but, Mk1 belts feeding every coal power plant! & the rest overflows on to the other coal power plants! The only problem is pipping the water to all the power plants, & making sure that they all get enough water! Could use help...& need to get quartz... somehow! LOL! But, using lower tier belts is far more useful than just using higher tier belts! It may slow things down, but it also increases overflow to other machines! & therefore increases productivity of the other machines! Just realized that you can do the same for pipes too!!! Just need to get higher tier pipes & pumps! LOL! Funny how you can get ideas from other games!!!

one casimir crystal requires 12 hydrogens. and a level 3 belt only offers 1800/min. which means a full belt of hydrogen can only offer 10 level 2 crafter working full speed or 6.6 level3 crafter. use more belts and do more casimir crystal (it's super important too. if u want more rockets)

drop charging exchangers till all the excess power is turned to batiers and your generators will burn the extra stuff, it also allow you to move power to a new planet from this one.

I hope kibz knows that he can (well, should be able to) gather fire ice from gas giants, if he has enough. Like with my star cluster, I've got at least 10 gas giants (idk if this is normal or not) which I can use as an infinite source of fire ice, and this to me at least is a much better way to get hydrogen or graphene compared to oil.
