    Probably the easier way to get to other planets is to attach modular pieces of a larger rocket in orbit, then send up fuel missions to top it off... you'll have to fight the Kraken more, though. From what I've heard on some PCs the docking ports are bugged so that the explode when things later detach.

    Duna is easie enough to get to that yo dont need large caft assemblw in orbit. helpfull for stuff further away like jool though. Blitz just needs to finally find out that vaccum engines like the labradoodle let you go further because they ae more efficent than higher thrust engines

    At about 10,000 m you need your angle at 45° in the 90° direction. This provides maximum efficiency for fuel. These missions are fkn hard im not gonna lie to you ive only done a passby of duna so far. You need to be about 44° behind duna in order to account for traveling to a further orbit around the sun. This takes a lot of patience and time warping.

  • @jonathanproudfoot3107

    @jonathanproudfoot3107

    Жыл бұрын

    After you have the correct angle, basically just plot a maneuver to duna and figure out the best time to pull it off. To pull off a proper burn, take the time of the burn and divide it by 2; that is the time before the node you start your burn. You want to hit the node about halfway through your burn

    @@jonathanproudfoot3107 I would recommend to make an Apollo-style Mission to Duna, it is a lot more efficient and easier. You can have a small lander, which lands on Duna and gets back to Duna Orbit and an Interplanetary Craft (using Nuclear Engines if possible), which pushes the Lander to Duna and brings the Kerbels back to Kerbin. But you will need to dock them together in Duna Orbit, so you should learn this first. I recommend the lowne lazy method of docking
