This was unbelievably inspiring. I’ve been working out and exercising for 3 years, really looking after my body, but I’ve been struggling to find something in fitness that is my thing, that I can get my heart involved in. And I think - this is it. Thank you so much. I’ve subscribed so I’ll be staying updated on your work. 🙏🏼❤️

Thanks for this gem of a motivation. I'm already 1 year into my fitness journey with the first 6 months doing a lot of bodyweight basics at gym before the remaining months until november I was hitting the gym and definitely seen results but I'm not satisfied and that really happy with weights alone. Took me a few days to contemplate what I really what, what made me happy and I finally decided to go back to calisthenics full on with just mixing in weights / lifting weights for my legs or weighted calisthenics. Already have a solid base foundation but I'm working more on to improving it and slowly transitioning into higher reps and sets and more variations while slowly working into skills. While also working mobility on rest days including a lot of core training.

that was awesome!! congrats!!! I just moved to Australia (from Spain) a month ago and I am grinding everyday at all levels and its being really hard personally.. looking for a job, training, meeting new people, etc. Enjoying my alone time, which has been a lot . Like transitioning into a completely different lifestyle. But also facing past demons. I have been training consistently for years but due to some shoulder impingement, I kind of postponed many movements over the years. I already did a couple of muscle ups in the last 2 years. But when I tried here I could not get it!! its tough but I will continue trying... I want to master muscle up, handstand and front lever... then I'll try other things. I feel I need to take some rest for my shoulder though, my ac joint feels tight.even though I workout rotator cuff almost everyday plus stretches... I have been too hard on myself... and now here I am.. alone... in the situation I wanted for pure growth...after a life of postponing... in fucking Australia. lol. I can only move forward from scratch. Its like a restart, late in life. Wanted to share sorry for the rant. wishing you all the best. keep grinding. Felt inspired by this and would love to inspire others by my own journey as well. CHEERS

Great Video. Truly Inspiring. Just saying that u shouldnt say ur change is possible in a year for everyone. Not because i dont believe u did it but rather for general people that change is way to hard to do in a year i believe u really put in the hard work but i would say u have some good genetics 2 and u already had a background of working out that gives u experience, most people starting with this expectations probably dont know half of what u know maybe they dont have some "disadvantage" and after sometime they quit because they dont have not nearly as much results as u did. Again all this i am saying is just because i believe people will be more pro to quit if they have too much expectations.

Also one question I always wanted to ask is with the "miming walking" bits you often see in these videos is there any functional purpose to it or it it just another trick you can do?

Thanks Joel! I appreciate that! The Beginner 5 Day Calisthenics Program: Focuses on building up foundational strength through bodyweight movements to then advance on to skill training or to keep building your strength through weighted calisthenics or build your physique by adding more hypertrophy (more sets and reps) Hybrid Gym & Calisthenics Program: Involves you starting your workouts with calisthenics movements to give you variety and makes you more functional and continues to build strength. Then it goes into isolating your muscles with bodybuilding movements that you need gym equipment for to give you a good balance of both. Think of it more as Aesthetics and Strength. It’s for those who don’t want to give up the gym but want to involve calisthenics to keep things more fun and be more of a balanced athlete.

I been doing calisthenics for 2 years now and i haven't come close to you. Here in my place most people don't know what calisthenics is but people who knows thinks it's just body weight pull up pushup and other bodyweight exercises not knowing about the skills, I've been laught at or told not to do it because I'll get hurt doing stupid things while training some variations for skills most of the times when I work out at gyms but i learned one thing that is Tu....Tu....Tu......Ru..... Tu..... Tu......Tu.....

Yess I completely can relate on my journey. I was really the only one and learnt everything myself. People laughed, questioned and doubted but I knew I had to prove them wrong and most of them now are asking “how did you do it?” Or “I always knew you could do it” so do not listen to anyone because your already winning by trying something out of everyone’s comfort zone! Keep going and trust me it will all pay off!

the title is a bit clickbait. It should be something like "my progression in 1 year of calisthenics" and not "1 Year Calisthenics Transformation" since it shows that your transformation has been based on gym and calisthenics.

I’m glad it gave you some motivation. The belly fat will reduce overtime by following a calorie deficit in your diet and doing a little extra activity (some sort of cardio) For pull ups. I have some tutorials on my IG & Tiktok. Main thing is to use resistance bands, control the negative part of the movement, build up your scapula strength and try some isometric holds at the top of the bar.

people with god genetics complaining about their life and their appearance. What is wrong with u.. u learned all this in 1 year, an average calisthenics dude needs like 2-3 years for that…
