    @@russ_sw this guy's transformations will definitely be one of the best one KZread, he's quite smart for starting being as underweight as he was, because of his hard work, his body weight to strength ratio was ridiculous. So when he gained some weight his strength followed. Bravo my friend, you have inspired me too!

    bro how, usually when i watch calisthenic transformation videos I get hope because most spend 1 year not knowing what they are doing and making little progress with the physique just like I have been since last year. Only recently have I figured out the right way to train calisthenics and said videos make me think I am on the right path but wtf is going on. This mf really did everything I want in a year and he got a crazy physique. I guess u knew what u were doing from relatively the start but I have never felt more pissed off that I spent I year barely making progress. W transformation

    Amazing. I started in January 2023 and the changes are definitely noticeable for me too. How did you achieve the straddle planche/bent arm straddle planche and how long did it take you? Also my handstands are getting better but I would love to learn HSPU and many times I tend to do the motion right but my feet come back down when I push back up. What can I do? Thanks

  • @russ_sw

    @russ_sw

    Жыл бұрын

    I started progressing the planche starting from mastering the tuck planche and doing tuck planche pushups and planche leans helped me a lot with my progress. It's all about mastering the basics because they're the foundation of your skills. I tried spreading my legs to attempt the straddle planche but ended up doing the bent arm planche, so i later focused on my straight arm strength and core to get my first straddle planche in my 1 year mark. As for HSPU, like i said, mastering the basics is the key so get those solid holds in handstands and progress from pike pushups to wall assisted HSPU. When performing the movement, lean forwards as you're going down and get a tight grip of the floor or parallettes. Your shoulders are responsible for the pushing and your core and legs so you won't fall.

    It is definitely fine to start working out at an early age. As long as your performing the exercises correctly with proper form to prevent risks of injuries and as long as you're nutrition or diet is on point, the you have nothing to worry about working out at 14. Personally, it worked just fine for me.

    Focus on mastering the basics first. Get to 20+ push ups consecutively and work on getting 10+ pull ups (You don't have to do one first over the other since they are different movements). Once you can do that, start working on advanced pushup variations do it like this: diamond push up -> archer push up -> one arm push up. Once you can do that you should have enough base strength to start training either handstand or planche. It is important to only focus on one skill until you achieve it for faster results. As for pull ups, I would work on weighted pull ups until you can pull your chest to the bar. Once you can do that you should try doing muscle ups with the resistance band. Then over time, you should be able to do muscle ups without the band eventually. That should be good enough to start with. Hope this helps!
