I clearly remember SPRINTING up the stairs to the YA section when I found out that the library had finally gotten the new Halt's Peril. I love the original series. ❤❤❤ I haven't loved the Royal Ranger series as much, but i have enjoyed continuing explorimg the world.

honestly, they always have the prettiest designs for journals! The Dutch door was a game changer for sure! I always got so annoyed having the decorate so many pages for my books read haha 😂

I really love your reading journal! It's so personalized and pretty. I don't know how, but my current reading journal has fewer pages than usual, so I just have the right amount of pages for my essentials pages, but this made me want to create a side journal just for all the new ideas!! (fortunately I always do a travelling journal in the summer, so I will be busy doing that<3) Thank you for the inspiration!

Last read Brotherband: The Hunters shortly after it came out and just finished The first royal ranger book today. Definitely one of my favorite fictional universes!

I'm not much into romance. I was trying to figure out what my summer reads would be and I thought after some thought what does "Summer" represent to me? Ocean, beach ..so I decided on Jaws which is an iconic summer movie for me. I also chose Stranded. It's about a bunch of scuba divers get stranded on a beach after one gets killed. They are dealing with big spiders, carnivore monkeys, trying not to drown and sharks. So we will see!

Fun TBR! I look forward to following along. Peter S. Beagle recently came onto my radar somehow, too. In addition to that dragon book, I also added his The Last Unicorn to my TBR.
I might also need to check out The Last Unicorn if I enjoy his other work!
I bought the first book "Well Met" last month because you talked about it so much, and it's on my July TBR XD I hope you enjoy "The Seven Year Slip," Ashley Poston has become a go-to romance author for me because she tends to focus more on plot instead of spice. Also, not trying to be "that person" or anything, but just in case you're interested, the pronunciation of "Frieren" from the Japanese is actually closer to "Free-ren", according to the katakana of the manga (I wanted to know myself and looked it up), but of course say it however feels comfortable to you because it's not even a Japanese word! XD
Hope you love the Well Met series!! 🫶 Watching the anime I did learn the right pronunciation for Frieren, but when I try to say it properly my Texan accent comes out in FULL 💀 so I stuck with a slightly modified version as to not sound like a complete fool LMAO 💀💀

Have you heard of Dividing Eden? Not sure if you’ll enjoy it but read it last year and actually was surprised at how good it was! It’s a fantasy about these twins who are the son and daughter to the king and one day something happens to the king and the older brother and now they have to basically battle for the throne! It’s really fun!
I think my friend read that like 5 or so years ago during our first 24 hour readathon 💀
I think It happened one summer is a good pick for a Tessa Bailey book. I enjoyed this one. I have read two others by her. One was just okay and the other I didn't like.

For my summer tbr I am finally going to be finishing The Mortal Instrument series, checking out Abby Jimenez, just finished People We Meet On Vacation and gave it 4 stars, had a good time. I just need to read Book Lovers to be all caught up with her contemporary romances.

Other than Tress which i have read, Sunlit man is the only other secret project i am interested in, but i have read that you should read the entire Stormlight before going into it bc it is so deep into Cosmere and maybe even spoilery
