I've been playing this build since the video came out! Love it!
So i have a computer and i have an xbox. I have got unusually good at micro with controller so i actually stopped using a mouse. Do you only coach computer or would u also coach xbox? Im not a noob at all i just want to step my game up

Hey Valdemar, I do create AoE Videos for KZread in German. I play HRE and I´d like to try this and get up in rank as a little challenge (Im Gold right now). Question: May I use parts of your guide in one of my own Videos (with credits ofc) to explain my audience what im trying to do?

You certaintly can, however, you might be doing other things wrong :)
I've just got a mnk today on Xbox, when I click a villager via ctrl n f for food vil I have to click on eco building or military building before I can use W E R to make a building How to a make it so I can choose eco or mil building with the keyboard? Also when I want to use W for mill The camera moves But the others work fine

I try my best but 1TC aggro vs Ayyubids its really hard. any tips?
I cant beat Ayyubids in AI Ridiculous mode as RUS They just build too many camels and i cant handle them, Anyone got good tips? I did the 1TC agroo but dont work

strong build, but I am curious what if we play against knight civ, their knights are obviously gonna kill your horsemen (even with triumph), should we build barracks instead of archer range?

Thank you for the great content! How do you deal with Byz fedual aggression with this build order? should I go FC into Gaulam instead? because byz will have jav + spear which counters camel lancers pretty well?
If they’re trying to all in you in feudal, ghulams are great, but a lot of times people are just harassing and therefore camel lancers are better because you can start to use them immediatly to shut off new units coming. Ghulams vs castle age opp is generally a bad idea

Very nice build but why not rush max water ?? The stone is not even that expensive maybe that would help this build as an adjustment also one more thing maybe at the start chop 10 wood for one early olive crop to be able to turtle some food supply
It slows you down a lot. I don’t like farm opener or fast cisterns openers overall as they only serve a purpose in niche situations

Not sure why but I can't hit the age up until like 2:45-3:00, maybe I'm pulling vills off too early to match the 2:15 time
Thanks a bunch for this guide. My favorite civ is Rus but I couldn't really find any comprehensive builds that branch into multiple strategies and so I kind of felt lost doing anything other than my old 2TC build. The aggro variant seems very fun.
In the 1TC Aggro build, when do you want to add additional Archery Ranges or Stables? I couldn't really tell from the replay since you didn't view your own base towards the end of the match
Any tip on team games as Rus? 1 tc agression or 2tc agression to give team mates time to grow?
Awesome video, thanks! And great timing as I've been learning Rus :) I typically play 2v2, and feel like 2TC - FC leaves me with too little military for too long (they can easily gang up on my teammate who doesn't have Kremlin). I'd think 2TC aggro could be ideal in many situations, or would you have another suggestion?
Can someone explain the matchup chart for me? Why are Order of the dragon and Japan in the 2tc fc line up? Aren't those factions that you want to pressure from the very beginning because they are weaker in feudal? At least peronally I want to deal with feudal Japan instead of CA Japan. Same with Order of the dragon before they a lot more units going.
I can't understand it, either, as far as I understand, Rus always wants your opponents to stay in feudal because they have knights
Great video, possibly the best. I found it really helpful that you say what opening to use against each civ. I was surprised that you thought horticulture should come before wheelbarrow. I was also really surprised that you built a second scout from your TC. I get that it's faster than building 2 from the hunting cabin, but I'm surprised that getting that scout out faster is more valuable than an extra villager.

Been doing these exact builds for a while, both variations. It feels great to have knights out before a second tc.

2 scouts okay … but 3 ? Nahhh. I am good 😂
you don't have to do 3, but you'll often be short on gold and age up too late/over-gather food/have to mine gold to make knight if you do 2
