Not the Wolf. Just a backup on the Gienger.
Bro scary me 🤗👍
???????? Waht 😢
I have a theory with seeds. So weve all likely heard of recessive and dominant traits. I have reason to believe that the seeds forming first contain the most amount of diverse gene pool, compared to seeds developed later on. Pollination is a factor within that. This is something i want to research when i start growing. Ive had interest in giant gardening for about 15 years. Im 22 now. Ive never had enough space until now and next year will be my first year. I have all the knowledge ill ever need as ive researched this for years. Experience however is something i do not have.
Just think if they were that solid in the middle at the end of the season.
Either it's still a baby or you're getting ready to sit for supper and corn and squash are on the menu 😋 😂
The me giant pumpkin slow growing 😢😢😢😢😢😢😢😢😢😢😢😢😢😢😢
Looking good. I don’t know how you keep up with all of those. I can hardly keep up with the 3 I have and only one plant is growing really well.
Yeah it’s too many really 😂. Only 4 are getting a lot of attention.
have you ever considered growing one with the fruit placed in a giant pool of water? I wonder if it would turn out perfectly round since it would be suspended in the water and not sort of crushed by its own weight.
@@ghidfg it’s a cool idea but unfortunately I think the pumpkin would rot if left in water. They need to be kept as dry as possible. But it would still be fun to try.
Plants are looking great and the fruit are about to take off. Smart move on the tissue test.
Fertilizing, nutrients and staying balanced is a hard one to master. I’m not there yet. But data helps. EC, pH, tissue tests, etc.
Plants are looking great. Hopefully they push out some big pumpkins for you this year. I am assuming those are timelapse cameras you have next to at least a couple of your pumpkins. If so, what brand are they? I have been researching timelapse cameras and am hoping to make a purchase soon.
Actually they are just security cameras that I used when I went on vacation. I am also in the market for a time lapse camera but haven’t done my research so let me know what you find 😂
@@dawson_acres I am currently looking at ATLI Eon, but plan to research more. Cost is part of the reason I am looking at this camera.
New video bro? tank you the video
You seem to be a force to be reconed with this year. Your plants are looking great and great genetics as well. Good luck friend, hope you do well at the scales.
@@ARCHIEhasSTEEZ thanks! It’s a long road ahead yet.
Didn’t know you could do this! Thanks!
So by now you have that big one pollinated 🧡🎃🧡
New video 11 ep👍👍👍👍
What is the chair over the tip of the plant for?
It’s just a little sun shade over the main vine tip. Very important you don’t get sun scorch on the tip, especially if you have a baby pumpkin in there.
👍🎃
This feels dirty to watch lol 😂
Looking forward to seeing how they turn out.. New subscriber here from Growing My Own.
Welcome to the journey!
on my 2239 Marintzer plant I pollinated it with 35 secondaries I'm excited to see what it does I think a far out pollination could be awesome!
It will be a first for me! I’m excited to see the work a big plant can do. As long as she pollinates 🤞🏻
Looking great, good luck on the pollinations
@@growinggiantswithscott thanks, I think Ive got one tomorrow and then the last two in another day or two.
Do you cut off all the females on all the secondaries?
Yeah I usually do if I see them!
Please tell us more about your wobbler set up! 🧡🎃🧡
Check out episode 7 from this years series. I cover lots of irrigation stuff including the wobblers! kzread.info/dash/bejne/l36Fj66pYcS5p7w.htmlsi=rCuCqe93sbn6GTcP
Plants are looking really good overall. Hopefully that is the last of those splits for you.
Me giant pumpkin growing
You’ve got some great looking plants, I’m looking forward to your updates.
Hey man great video. I had the exact same perpindicular vine crack at around 16' on my 2344.5 Wallace right before my first keeper. Had to sever that and go with a secondary sadly. Your plant is looking so healthy and full though i'm sure you'll be fine no matter what.
Thanks! I just wish I knew what caused it. Either way we charge on!
Looking great.. 2245 looks a and 2266 leafs a lil light? Or just the light
Yeah good eye, I see the same thing. Maybe asking for a bit more N?
what dosatron model are you using ?
It’s a D14MZ2
The plant with the yellow leaves had what is called the B-Gene. It wasn’t any deficiency. Your patch looks great! Good luck this year
Thanks for the info Ben!
This is my first attempt at growing a big pumpkin. My first year gardening period lol. I appreciate the tips on the roots and covering them with soil. I'm in north Florida. Fingers crossed the heat is not to much.
Good luck!
Plants look amazing! Best of luck rest of the way!!!
Looks great, sweet view of the drip tape with the lighting just right!! And I’m just getting my plants into the ground!!! Looks like you have a solid start and solid genetics for the year!! Best of luck!!
Thanks! It’s been a good start but the hard stuff is still ahead.
Nice plant
Thanks! It’s a good start so far 🤞🏻
Looking good
Nice! What are your overnight temps like?
It gets down to the mid 40s at worst and stays ~10 degrees warmer in the hoops. 2 of my plants are out of the hoops now, 10 day forecast looks mild.
Plants look good, nice start
Thanks! Cautiously optimistic 🤞🏻
Great looking plants, good idea having soil dropped for vine burying. I was thinking about doing that with compost so it will be that much less to add next year.
Yeah just having it right there helps so much. As you know vine burying is a huge job!
Love that intro. Thanks for sharing!
Nice video, I like the set up!! I think I might need to get a good luck omen. I like Pancho!
Looking good!
Awesome job, that looks like an amazing set up and start! I have a 2245 in my patch I started a couple weeks earlier and it is a really strong plant, I think your going to be really happy with it. Good luck this season!
I started a 2245 as well and it’s a very strong seed. Went and bought a few more to have on hand for next year! Very confident in that seed. Started it for my Pops rookie year ak he’ll be finishing it!
Your patches & plants look great, good luck with your grow!
Thanks! Now the hard part starts!
cool video....babies look happy!
Enjoyed the video and the music!
