One can not compare gaining knowledge with money earned during that period..Vidhya ko saraswati ko paiso me compare nahi kiya jata..if you have Passion you can go for a post doc too... Mostly international students at Abroad aim to earn dollars and easy life to enjoy.. Doctoral degree and money one can not compare..one may have satisfaction completing research it's a question of interest in study..
Local American people are worried about their local culture and values would be taken from them by other people, i meet few guys here and according them they dont want USA to become Canada where other people taken over culture and political strength to manipulate in their favor.

It takes 6 to 10 years for international students to graduate from Phd in USA. There is no fixed set of requirements to graduate that is common to all Phd programs. Its up to the department and school when and if to let you graduate. Most programs see international students as slaves or very cheap labour, so international students get abused and often dont get to graduate before 6 years.

Sir, I am facing trouble in converting my GPA to USA out of 4 GPA, every site shows different results. In some site, it is showing 7.5/10 is equivalent to 3.0/4.0 and in some site it is saying 7.0/10.0 is equivalent to 3.0/4.0. I want to know which one is correct.

Been on contracting assignments that renew every 3 months, been on full time opportunity and you know the corporates take call on reducing work force. At some point, you don't need to be worrying about your legal status (h1b) and should be able to take break, be like the US guy who can get unemployment benefit - etc. So - make some money - get financial freedom - give your goodbye kiss to US and fly back :) peace !

Such immigration policies are absolutely wrong. Any immigration or emigration policies must go through a proper Government and legal channel. The Government of the nation which wants the immigrants must reach out to the Government of the nation from which the immigrants are required. It should specify requirements, reasons, offers, etc. All approvals from both the nations must be taken. The current immigration policies of many Western nations are completely toxic and will have very dangerous repercussions both on their citizens as well as the immigrants. This needs to stop.

Academia aur Reaearch me jaana hai to Phd is Must and also for Industries Phd waalon ka Industrial knowledge bhi bohot top level ka hota hai, Academia me while pursuing Phd stipend money plus you can work as an Assistant Professor or do some extra teachings in your branch to earn more, so there is definitely a lot of money can be earned while pursuing Phd if you want to but if you wanna be more focused towards your research so that stipend money is enough also. Haan agar aapka India me koi educational background nahi hai ya achha Academic Profile nahi hai to you can work just after doing your MS in USA but for a person with a great academic profile who has received scholarship and his Phd is being fully funded with stipend being provided then definitely nothing is better than Phd, ye aapka academic aur industrial dono parts ko boost karega and its the highest academic degree , a big milestone.
