This government is killing this country. There is no reason at all to move here let alone stay here. I really feel for younger people who have almost zero opportunities here. Baby boomers are being screwed with high taxes let alone the proposed capital gains tax on a principal residence. We are on the brink of a revolution if changes aren’t made fast. But it may be too late. There is no way I will retire into this ruined country.

I have my Italian citizenship and want to move as well. The way we were all treated during the Coof19 and the state of this country since 2015 is disgusting. I was once so fiercely proud and now I literally couldn’t care less. I was even thinking about getting residency in Mexico but I’m not fully convinced regarding safety and corruption there.

Funny our halyard has never done that…I think it’s because it’s longer and the free end can’t get pull through the masthead due to its own weight.

Ive never thought to chuck a line over a branch using a truckers for the point of a shelter. Dunno why, it's so simple! Probably carry that info the rest of my life, cheers!!

Your absolutely correct. I think the shift came when the twin towers were hit and then everyone became more suspicious. The media, internet, people have become vulgar but more so in larger cities. The hell I went through in 30 years of living in the GTA I am too on my way out...the people in government have all the power...make them trade roles with the common man and see how quickly their perspective changes.

I left 2 years ago for Sicily. As a senior, Quebec would rather see me die or shove me in a senior home than give proper medical care. Sold house, shipped belongings overseas, doggo and I live in a palace-200sqm with frescoes fifteen ft. Ceilings and ancient majolica tile floors. 3-4 doctors in every neighborhood. Operations- 2 weeks. No winters. Food grows in volcanic ash, no such thing as seedless! Quality of life is the best. I miss Quebec, but had to go.

I’m Australian and Australian has become exactly like Canandaigua, the government has let us down, low wages, high rents, extremely high property prices, no housing stock, high insurance, food, electricity. We are planning on leaving australia to live elsewhere, so sad

I have been exploring leaving the has-been USA for a decade and a half now. I suppose the main reason would be the evil Democrats stealing our elections, and ruining the country. Cost of living is too high, which is a measure of the rampant government corruption. So if the country of my birth, politicians hate the very people that they are supposed to be serving, my vote hardly matters anymore, then I should vote with my feet and leave. Just as soon as I find out where to go and how to afford to leave, I am so outta here.

so people who want to earn more money/live better are leaving canada ( PM Trudeau is in charge of what companies decide to pay workers???) and then are being replaced by immigration, which according to the Cons is also bad...... maybe the fix is to focus on a living wage [ 25% of canadians are in poverty}?
